Good router for NordVPN on 1Gbps connection?

With NordVPN app on my PC I can reach 200 Mbps (my maximum right now) with no problems. That said, I know how to install and configure pfsense, but I already have too many boxes (raspbx, NAS, my PC, my Laptop, my wife's Laptop, etc. etc.) and PCs running. Everything I can use in an embedded...

Good router for NordVPN on 1Gbps connection?

Now I am using RT-N66U with your great FW. NordVPN requires AES256CBC. My max down/up speed is 10/10 mbits. Do you think that moving to AC68U will increase at least to 100 mbps? TIA

Good router for NordVPN on 1Gbps connection?

I know I will have a decreased speed, but sometimes I do nooed VPN and I would like not to decrease too much. 400/500 Mbps would be wonderful, I thought about 200 or 300 Mbps maximum. That said, I do not have time to build a custom box, isn't there a router with a good CPU like the mentioned...

Good router for NordVPN on 1Gbps connection?

Hi all, right now I am using Asus RT-N66U fo my VDSL connection. I use NordVPN and I have no more than 10 mbps up/down because of sha-256 weight. I am moving on a 1 Gbps FTTH connection and it's time to change router. I would like to continue using NordVPN and I would like an alternative FW...

Protect WAN access removing "banners" or dinamically open/close WAN access

This sets the correct flag in NVRAM. I can see the flag on or off but when restarting httpd, the new setting is not working. I have to lcick "Apply" to make it work. I noticed that "Apply" button calls "startapply.htm" but I do not understand what startapply.htm does :(

Protect WAN access removing "banners" or dinamically open/close WAN access

I usually use SSH tunnel. The problem is that some of PCs I use do not have access to all ports (so I cannot use the SSH port). Moreover not all of them can use VPN SW...

Protect WAN access removing "banners" or dinamically open/close WAN access

Hi all, I often have to work on my home router RT-N66U with Merlinwrt. I had to open it using a non standard port, but I would like to have a more secure interface. In fact it now shows the AsusWRT login screen. I would like an anonymous login&password form. Is there any way to implement it...

iperf not over 250 mbps? (PC to ROUTER ST-N66u)

Don't be jealous... it's only a test for about a week. Then they will give me a 200/20 Mbps FTTH. Not bad, anyway :-) I installed it using entware. Good advice. I will test it tomorrow morning and report back. Thx Luca

How do I install free SSL certificates on asuswrt-merlin?

That's insane. I'm on RT-N66U with 380.63_2 version. I cannot install any certificate. I tried to commit nvram too, but it looks like something is going wrong. I use the crt file for Apache... I used it on Tomato happily, now I cannot install it on my router. Any idea? The process is entirely...

    Does Merlin have these features?

Hi, I need some features I cannot find in the screenshot of Merlin FW, so, before trying an installation, I double check :) 1 - DHCP reservation 2 - Speed limiter based on IP address 3 - DDNS support (freedns.afraid.org) 4 - PPTP VPN Client or Cisco VPN Client (using vpnc). I do cannot use...
