    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the RT-N56 can not be converted to use Aimesh it has a different processor and is not compatible. You can possibly use it as a repeater or If you can hardwire it you can use it as an access point.

    Asus RT-AC68U schedule block not working

    Do you have "NAT acceleration" disabled in "LAN", "Switch Control"? That will cause issues with scheduling when enabled but has the side effect of slowing down your internet connection when disabled.

    Not sure but it does sound like a compatibility problem. You could try filling out the feedback tab and reporting it but it won't be fixed right away or at all.

    Do you get the error when adjusting both settings seperately? I would try resetting the dining room to default by using the wps button and set back up if that doesn't work do it to the main unit or just do them both together. I know the ac68u supports it and would assume the dsl68u does since it...

    I'm on official for the past 6 months or so, for me it's a hassle to set everything back up again, I may switch back in the future but for now everything is working smoothly so I'll leave well enough alone.

    Haha...Love it and thanks. Yes he could but in bridge mode it doesn't extend his wireless network and the tv would have to be wired to the router.

    Sorry it didn't work out for you. To be honest I never tried the USB functionality on the 56u and I don't have a 86u to try out either. I will try the USB at some point but I have to wait for the wife and kids to be off beforehand so I don't get yelled at, that leaves me a window of opportunity...

    My router shows there is a firmware update Version 3.0.0.4.385.20252-ga052d4c but when I go to Asus website it still lists Version 3.0.0.4.385.10000 as the latest. Anyone else see the same thing? I think I will wait till the website shows the new firmware before updating.

    @Brenneke Correct me if I'm wrong but thought setting "Connect To DNS Server Automatically" to "On" meant the router would try and get its DNS from your ISP and it's better to set it to "No".

    Because when you do the conversion wan1 gets switched to lan1 and I'm not sure how to fix it. It says that in the instructions.

    Make sure you are not using LAN1 but LAN2-LAN4.

    After the conversion only the power and 5g lights are lit so that is normal.
