Can I log all network activities just for one device ?

I had simply been looking in the Router's System Log's Connections Tab, and hitting refresh, and finding events like these: (xx.xx.1.8 is the device) udp 192.168.1.8:123 195.222.33.219:123 UNREPLIED udp 192.168.1.8:123 192.33.214.47:123 UNREPLIED udp 192.168.1.8:123...

Can I log all network activities just for one device ?

Hi - I have a problematic device on my network - a T-Mobile Signal Box (this device doesn't have a user gui/command interface) I was on Merlin 378.55 but I reverted to stock 378_5134, to see if that would fix things (it didn't) So, is there an (easy) way for me, using my router (RT-AC87U), to...

Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 Beta is now available

I'm on Windows 10, and the login fields only seem to populate when using IE - with Chrome, LastPass just does an asterisk with a "1", indicating there is one matching entry, but it doesn't populate, also Chrome's native password-filler and Spartan/Edge don't save/fill the user & password either.

Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 Beta is now available

I also had corruption(s) on my RT-AC68U & AC87U - (I was using NTFS) but then I found this article that recommends Ext4 - since then, I've had no corruption problems at all https://www.asuswrt.eu/how-to-format-usb-drive/ -Tom

Feature Request: Mass upload of DHCP hostnames from the GUI

As I said, I will have a go at doing it the NVRAM way A couple of questions though ... Does the CSV file really have to be in order, or is that just for readability ? Does the "$DESC" have to be unique ? eg. for devices with multiple MACs Do I have to re-load the whole NVRAM list/table from...

Feature Request: Mass upload of DHCP hostnames from the GUI

With all deference to Merlin, I consider that a I/We have a "small" home network (just myself & the wife), a PC, a Laptop, a "Home Server", a NAS, a printer, two (Android) mobiles, an (Android tablet), a couple of "Smart" Televisions, and toss-in a few HomePlug WiFi devices, a few Hyper-V VM's...

    RT-AC87U can't see it's own 5Ghz

On closer inspection, the 2.4Ghz which I thought was from the router was infact from a Wireless unit in the garage - after removing that, I agree with MarioCaires - and suspect the site survey option excludes ssids from your own router

    RT-AC87U can't see it's own 5Ghz

    RT-AC87U can't see it's own 5Ghz

Hi - as the subject implies, I've got a RT-AC87U, running Merlin 378.53 I've got both 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz turned-on (with different ssid's), and I have devices connected to both 2.4Ghz & 5Ghz. The odd thing though is that my router (in the Wireless > Site Survey tab), can't see it's own 5Ghz...

    How are DHCP addresses selected?

Hi - I have an ASUS RT-AC87U, running Merlin 378.53. I only have a few devices, so I set my DHCP pool to start at 192.168.1.100, and I have left the Lease Time unchanged at 86400 I was expecting therefore to see my devices get IP addresses in the low .100's, but I'm seeing that some of my...
