Hi, I am looking at the new options under QOS and I am unsure what to select or put in for FIOS as I honestly am clueless about the answer to that question. Does anyone know? Thanks, JM

AB-Solution - The Ad Blocking Solution

How does your script differ from Ya-Malware? Doesn't Ya-Malware just block ip's? I saw your app removed ya-malware? Wouldn't it be beneficial to have both databases?

    Overide Merlin's hardcoded dnsmasq cache

Hi, I put together a dnsmasq.conf.add file with some various variables and upped the cache size within that file. However, Merlin's hardcoded 1500 line causes a conflict which results in DNSmasq not loading at all unless I physically remove the line from either file. This isn't a big deal, per...

Merlin, being nosey on the ftp - irqbalancearm module

Hi Merlin, May I ask what the irqbalancearm module is for or going to be for? I read up on it and it sounds really useful. Is this something implemented or do you/would you like a guinea pig? I don't mind breaking routers, my wife does, but she'll get over it ;-) - or beat me ... brutally...

Yet another malware block script using ipset (v4 and v6)

I think my noob stupidity has it all working now. I uncommented the level #url and it looks like that everything is there. Is there a place or way to confirm the rules are add/active?

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.31SF

Hey, No, I do not think I did anything that would have broken CTF. I did not have QOS on, just WMM. I ran the speedtest within the router and that was the speed that I came back with from the test. Also, could someone help me with creating the keys so I can ssh in? I will give you my firstborn...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.31SF

Hi Voxel, I hope you are well. First, I have a question. I did the speedtest on DDWRT vs. on your firmware, on DDWRT I scored about 986 Mbps and 800 something upload, on your firmware I am getting 580 something down and 250 or so up. I am hardwired using cat 7 to the router, so I can't chalk it...

    Netduma R1 gaming router

Hi, I am not familiar with router boards. I have only come across them tangentially in my digging. May I inquire, from a lay perspective, how would I integrate this into my wireless network? Is there a way to or is there a model with these specs that has wireless built in? Sorry for my...
