    in your links, i see another user having problem reaching 10G. Do we need to try changing the settings from auto to 10G in Lan/Switch Control menu?

    on ax89x, i forced 160mhz dfs, as long as my clients can detect dfs channels, they can connect, even for ac clients. i guess to set auto is when you have too many clients to micro manage. but auto comes with a slight performance or latency hit i will assume

    IIRC the router app ask for permission to do some ddns settings, which i guess in principle is same as your setup so long you give a test using only the AX89X wifi. There will be another revenue of reporting if their own app can no longer work with the current firmware because of qos bug.

    Sorry i did not use Qos, i tried AX89X traditional Qos for awhile and noticed it worked the main CPU heavily, and i lost about 30mbps on speed tests. It is whole lot better than my older routers, especially ISP ones where Qos halved peak speeds. Hence i never use Qos all this while I am not...

    arent these prebuild routers use rather less sophisticated chips, the profit margins must be high! many bcm based high end routers today are still on 28nm and at best 1GB ddr3L ram.
