Latest firmware update
It’s mostly from a distance.. The ps4 in the kids bedroom is suffering the worst at 80mgb prior to the update it was 150mgb. Ethernet seems to be pretty on par as before. 300-370mgb. Wi-Fi 5g near the router nets 361mgb. 15ft away it drops to 244mgb- Cary5500

I recently updated Merlin firmware from previous Merlin firmware. Do I need to do a factory reset after firmware updates? edit* the reason I ask is because after update internet is terribly slow.- Cary5500

Ax86u PS5 switch
I have no other way I know of to connect those devices to Ethernet without a switch. I can’t run 5 cables from the living room to the gaming room. So I guess my options are.. remove the switch and plug the ps5 directly into gaming port and put other devices on Wi-Fi. I think that would be... -

My apologies, you stated Keep in mind that toggling features on/off isn't the same as leaving them at their defaults after a full reset (some settings do not toggle 'back', and another full reset may be needed). I guess where I’m conflicted is wether or not a default factory reset is necessary...- Cary5500

Thank you for the detailed quick reply. I average 400/30 connection speeds. Mostly game on ps5 only. From the setting I did use of yours do you recommend another default reset to establish them or are those specific settings updated with a simply multiple reboot.- Cary5500
