    TP-Link Introduces Intel-based Router

I know this is an old thread, but I am wondering if anybody has some real world experience with this router--the Archer C2700 (not C2600!!!)? It seems to be end-of-life in that is in not listed in TP-Link Archer's current lineup as of today (see...

[R7800] Will no longer save settings after reboot.

Thanks, @kamoj--this is just what I was looking for! In my case, I will save it for the future because I am still under warranty, and already have an RMA swap set up. But maybe it will help @Redbot?

[R7800] Will no longer save settings after reboot.

Yes, I tried that before downgrading to the official V1.0.2.68 firmware and same problem. Fortunately, an RMA with Netgear was not too much of a hassle--I just got off the phone with them, and it took about 10 minute total to explain the problem and get and RMA started. Good luck with your...

[R7800] Will no longer save settings after reboot.

Hmmm, my R7800 had its freakout on March 17 in the morning so actually a couple of days after the DST change. I reloaded the official Netgear V1.0.2.68 firmware just now, and same issue--on power cycle, all the settings are lost, uggh. While I was surprised to see your posting about the same...

[R7800] Will no longer save settings after reboot.

Thanks again, @microchip! I will try a variety of options and see what happens, but like you, I presume it might be a hardware issue because it has been working fine for 11 months, and it just choked out of the blue for no reason. I am happy that it has happened now because it should still be...

[R7800] Will no longer save settings after reboot.

Thanks, @microchip, for letting me know! Is there any other method to completely clear the router, for example, reflash the NVRAM partition/chip to clear that if it has somehow been corrupted? Or is the most complete reset just a 7-second hold on the reset button?

[R7800] Will no longer save settings after reboot.

Interesting, this just happened to my R7800 two days ago, too. Not that it makes a difference, but it was running Voxel's V1.0.2.74.1SF when it happened, and it had been running that firmware fine for several months. But about two days ago, I got an urgent emergency message from home that "the...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.65SF

Woo-hoo, perfect--just what I needed, kamoj--thanks so much for your help with this! Happy to grab this info through a shell command line (indeed, I already did), but having it available on your debug page, too, I think would be useful to folks. Thanks again for your help with this!

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.65SF

Thanks so much for letting me know!!! This returns me to my original question because I started down the QOS path because it would have supposedly allowed me to see some info that I was seeking. My original question was more or less the following: Is there a way to see the link/connection...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.65SF

Cool, thanks for letting me know. I did some initial searching about the problem on this NG AC subforum, but now I will do a deep search on all of the NG subforums to see if I can find the post you mentioned seeing. In the meantime, I have simply disabled the QOS option because it affected the...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.65SF

Ok, so I am looking for a bit of guidance here because things did not go as expected after enabling the QOS option on my R7800 with *.65SF firmware. Here's what happened. I went into the QOS setup screen, and checked the option to enable it. Meanwhile, the "Automatically update performance...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.65SF

I was just looking for the link/connection rate for each machine (like 150/300/867 Mbps). This was my lazy man's approach to get a quick, synoptic view of which clients might benefit from an upgraded network card. I have not explored the QOS options yet, but if I can get not only the...

    Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.65SF

I've been on an Asus RT-N66U for many years, and finally just upgraded to an R7800 when Amazon was selling them for $140. First thing I did was to slap on Voxel's latest firmware, i.e. the current *.65SF, which is the topic for this thread. One cool thing the Asus RT-N66U had was the ability...
