    First, thanks for the reply. No dns filtering activated in AI Protection. I do not have any dns numbers anywhere. I am redirecting all traffic to go through the dnscrypt proxy. What is DNS 53? I tried DNS 53 on the list of Servers and this one locked me up. Also I'm using the default resolver...

    Ok I emptied the values, but still leaking through dns leaks test. Also: when doing a dns leak test I'm getting opendns servers showing up on the test. I need it to say no leaks. Maybe I have it configured wrong. I don't know.

    Yeah I just flashed Asus FW on my AC68U and I see that the ProtonVPNs DNS will not work with its FW. So I'll have to wait for Asus to get back to me about my problem.

    [Release 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 is now available

    The only 2 bugs I've found is that it doesn't work with ProtonVPN DSN 10.8.8.1 or 10.8.0.1. It locks up my router. And AiCloud Smart Sync, I have to turn it off and back on to get it to remember the password after I reboot the router. It keeps everything synced up after that.

    I've noticed though that whenever I go to DNS leaks test it still shows a DNS leak.

    I did what you advised and I keep getting an unsecured connection when I try to log into asuswrt. I created a new Pixelserv-tls CA and that didn't work either.

    Ok, I got the router.asus.com file. But I can't figure out how to extract and save it in a text editor. It seems the editors only wants to save the extracts in txt file format.

    I used the alternate code but it doesn't put any crts in my pixelserv folder. There is nothing there.

    Yeah, it was the DNSFilter I had on. I turned it off, but I still couldn't log on with router.asus.com. So I did a restore and then reloaded a backup that didn't have the DNSFilter enabled and now everything works fine. Oh, it does work behind my VPN client. Thanks for the reply and the advice...

    Whenever I try to login with router.asus.com it takes me to www.asus.com. Or when I try to https://router.asus.com:8443/ I get a no connection error. Can anybody help me with this?

    You know, when I did it this way it worked good until I rebooted my router. And then no joy. The router started acting up again. Asuswrt Merlin just doesn't like ProtonVPN DNS 10.8.8.1.

    I used 10.8.8.1 and checked with dnsleak.com and no leaks. Try that DNS.
