[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.20308 for All Supported Products

I live in a large farmhouse (UK), built in the 1860s. Wifi can make it through one wall, just, but not two. And I have lots of walls. And they are really quite thick. The wireless node is close - and lined up with a doorway. It then transmits upwards, so we can get signal in one quarter of the...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.20308 for All Supported Products

Here's what I find frustrating... 86U main, 68U node (wireless, maybe 6m clear path between them). My laptop loves to connect to the node where I sit. -58 from the main, -55 from the node. Speed from the node varies a lot, but a high of 120/90, typical 80/60 and down to 10/8 at times. Speed...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.20308 for All Supported Products

Mine is not a T Mobile units (I am in the UK). "More stable" = the nodes stop crashing. With RA disabled, AIMesh works very well, with seemless handoff between nodes, so I am quite happy with it. You just have to remember to disable that RA. And yes, I have hard reset the routers several times...

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.20308 for All Supported Products

86U main router, 2x 68U nodes. 20308 all round. Possible bug: If I enable Roaming Assistant, one of the nodes will crash (no internet etc) after about 48 hours. Disabling RA gives a stable operation.

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.20308 for All Supported Products

Bones, I had this - my Kaspersky AV for some reason saw the network as a new network (after firmware fiddling), and set the network to public without telling me. No NAS drives. Went into Kaspersky, Settings, Protection, Firewall, Networks: ensure the network is "Local".

    Client list and DHCP bug?

RT-AC86U 2 odd issues: 1. The client list will not populate with any names for wired clients. 2. I have two clients that are most definitely DHCP leases but are showing as "static". Is this just me?

    RT-AC86U .20287?

    I have a 68U node with 20287 working perfectly with a 86U hub on 10007.

[Official Release] AiMesh Firmware v3.0.0.4.384.10007 for All Supported Products

Quick question (working out whether to buy): On a wireless node (ie no wired backhaul), can I just plug in a normal wired client to the node?

    Scheduled reboot problem

No, I still have the problem on the latest f/w. And I don't have a USB device connected. Same as you - no wireless connections and it needs a power cycle. I have it entered in issue 963 here, but the issue is closed: https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin/issues/963

    Scheduled reboot problem

Apologies in advance for any newbieness... RT-AC68U 350.58 All working fine, one openVPN server running, handful of clients. Reboot button in GUI does a good reboot. After a scheduled reboot, the GUI is unobtainable, the wireless SSIDs appear on devices but the devices can't connect, no...
