    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.0.0 alpha

Will give this a try. :) You're awesome by the way. Great work!

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin v1.0.8

Thanks for this info... What router was the 350 Mb test conducted on, out of curiosity? My router is the Asus ROG GT AC2900, which I believe is the same spec wise as the 86U?

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin v1.0.8

For sure, it's definitely something I'm willing to do to ensure a stable latency. I'll give it a try!

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin v1.0.8

Question - My ISP speeds are 500/20, I currently have CakeQoS set to 400/18. Is there any harm in exceeding that "350mb" threshold? I know it doesn't support hardware acceleration so I'm obviously not expecting a speed boost, but just out of curiosity, will it work better if I set it to say...

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin v1.0.8

Pardon me for my lack of knowledge here, I'm not the most techy guy and I'm learning along the way. Because I am in a double NAT situation, I want to let my WAN connection know that it is a pure ethernet connection all the way through with this Double NAT. How can I go about accessing this .add...

Is Ack-Filter on CakeQoS 386.2 Beta Possible?

Thanks so much! I'll take a look. Great work by the way!

Is Ack-Filter on CakeQoS 386.2 Beta Possible?

I have an Asus ROG GT AC2900. I'm currently using 386.2 beta. I see that CakeQoS is now on the Adaptive QoS page on this beta. I'm looking to place ack-filter as an extra upload option. Is that possible at the moment or can that only be done through SSH with CakeQoS installed through there?

connmon Connmon pauses and stops working at random hours

connmon is showing up there. But connmon is working right now, so maybe when it stops working again, I'll try this command. Thanks!

Please excuse my lack of knowledge this field. What do you mean by "code cru 1"

connmon Connmon pauses and stops working at random hours

I'm currently experiencing an issue where connmon randomly stops pinging the IP address I want it to ping.. I'm not quite sure if this is a bug or whether something on my end is triggering this action. Currently, I have it set to ping every 10 minutes. An option is to reinstall, but is there a...

    Assistance With Ping and Jitter

Further, this is what I mean by my upload speeds starting to sink during peak hours. Download is perfectly fine. Upload isn't horrible right now, but this is directly hardwired into the computer. I should have no problem getting my 20 mb. Later between 7-9, I see it drop to as low as 1 mbps.

    Assistance With Ping and Jitter

New modem today. Same issue (as expected). All the big and major hops seem to be happening after hop 2... with a big notable hop at hop 5. The modem is another Technicolor XB6 (they were out of the XB7 unfortunately) Pinging the Rogers DNS server is just pretty much mostly packet loss...

Packet loss in Double NAT situation

Yep, and I know that a CCTS complaint costs them money, which is why I don't want to do that right away. I just don't feel like they care until $$ is involved.

Packet loss in Double NAT situation

Also, I recognize your name from Rogers forums... I'm guessing you're on that too? Here's where I'm at right now. Rogers has refused to accept any of my evidence in terms of traceroutes and ping spikes, etc. I'm pretty sure the issue is node congestion. I spoke to the Rogers support agent...

Packet loss in Double NAT situation

Yep, was already doing that. Router no packet loss, always under 1ms. Modem no packet loss but there are some spikes up to 6ms and such. These ping spikes align with the ping spikes we receive in game, or when pinging 8.8.8.8, but there's big ping hops between hops 4 and onwards, so not sure...

Packet loss in Double NAT situation

Looks like it may be a pingplotter issue? Showing false packet loss. This one was consistently showing 40% packet loss. I stopped the ping and re-did it and it now shows 0%. weird. EDIT: Silly me, I didn't find the issue! When I click "X" on the pingplotter, I'm only exiting the summary and not...

Packet loss in Double NAT situation

Thanks for this. Also, I'm noticing that when I ping my gateway, it can spike up to like 6ms, is this normal? Because when I ping the Asus router, it's usually always under 1. I never see it over. Does this mean the issue is with the gateway or is that not a good indication? Because at that...

Packet loss in Double NAT situation

Fixed itself. Thanks. Here's the Skynet info. Quick question here, isn't a router plugged into a modem in DMZ mode already, in all technicality? Isn't my current setup kind've the same way? because I've set my Asus Router so that it has access to all ports, and then I have UPnP enabled on the...

Packet loss in Double NAT situation

Unable to do that manually on the gateway. ISP doesn't allow it, and we have way too many devices to attempt to go through the hassle of changing every single DNS server. I've re-tested with the router and now there's no packet loss. Must've been because I may have just rebooted it and it led...
