    +11 Same here i manually downloaded and flashed the firmware. but the log file was showing kernel messages every second, so I flashed back the previous firmware.. my question is does it hurt/damage the router?? The router was on the new firmware for more than 12 hours …

    Depends on your configuration, Mine is simple so i can start fresh in a few minutes. However it is important to upgrade the firmware for security and performance reasons

    3.0.0.4.386_46061 was the most reliable version i think i will downgrade to that.

    That’s why from now on i will never update straight away I’ll wait a week minimum before upgrading to a newer firmware!

    I had the exact same behavior on Firefox with this firmware. (also came from Merlin 386.5_2)

    I don’t know, but after i saw the system log is spamming kernel errors every sec for all night it kinda freaked me out so I went and manually downloaded and flashed the previous version.. also first i tried to reboot router and mesh system to see if the errors are gone but then the AX86U not...

    some update guys, you were all right about this firmware bricking ax86u/s. I think this update is not even for the AX86U model, I think ASUS is messed up big time! So I checked right now the system log file, and I was shocked I found that the AX86U was about to die if I wasn't checked the log...

    Hello, Yesterday I manually downloaded and flashed this new firmware, so far so good everything is working just fine and the Interface is even snappier and faster. My current setup is: AX86U - main router AX56U - aimesh node AX56U - aimesh node
