Desperately need help setting up ovpn on raspbian stretc

Tried setting up with pivpn and it again quit in 10mins or so. Pretty sure build dh is crashing randomly or something. Edit: Furthermore, there is no confirmation that anything happened at the end of the dots and pluses while the DH parameters are being generated and I do not remember whether...

Yes it probably is, I again set it up and build dh quit after 15 minutes, previous runtimes have varied from a minute to more than 30 minutes. How do i ensure that the keys are being generated properly?

Thanks I will try this. I forgot to mention that while generating the DH keys it had stopped after just a few seconds which was odd. I then ran the build-dh script again and it ran for a while around 30-40mins. This was the second time i was setting the whole thing up from scratch. Edit...

Desperately need help setting up ovpn on raspbian stretc

Hi! I'm trying to setup an openvpn server for my brother on a raspberrypi 3b+ (raspbian stretch), followed this guide which I've used previously with raspbian jessie for my own home which is working perfectly. I am unable to get it to connect with everything done and the openvpn service up and...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Yep i guess i saw his messge as well. It's working just fine without it. Enabling https though does result in some httpd process not responding errors which I've disabled again.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

It's been long since I checked out this thread... but read through like 40 pages to catch up with what's happening with this fork I like so much. I had initially decided to upgrade to an AC router but decided to hold off for a bit. I had been away from home and my N66U was on 23e4, up...

Upgrading finally to an ac router but spoilt by certain tweaks and stability of john's fork

I suppose the original ac66u was mips as well and did not have the trendmicro engine for qos? Also the ac680 has ports out the back and would be tougher than the ac66u to mount.

Upgrading finally to an ac router but spoilt by certain tweaks and stability of john's fork

As the title states I'm finally putting my n66u to rest and weighing ac routers but totally spoilt by the stability of john's fork running on it (it is currently up 256 days!) and some of it's very useful tweaks like an ntp server so wary of switching brands now. Snbforums ranks the x4s as it's...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I came across another problem, the mtu size that i being supported by my lan devices is 1475 which many times leads to hung file transfers from the disks that i have transferred to a pc. As soon as i increase the ping size from an openvpn client to 1476, the request times out on any device on...

No, no Qos. Anything out of the ordinary is the sd card i installed in it which has the traffic manager data.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I recently setup a raspberry pi to host an openvpn server since the speed on the n66u would max out at ~10mbps...a highly successful plan and now I easily hit 50mbps which is a major step up from the n66. The problem was that transfers from the disks I had attached to the router would still max...
