    Is there any postmortem way to tell? I don't know why I'd get an unusual number of dns queries in a typical home environment. Since being recreated 3 hrs ago, the file has stayed at 24576 bytes. I'll keep an eye on the size.

    Regardless of the router or brand, that is a symptom of a bad cable or connector. That's assuming whatever is connected to LAN1 also supports 1GB. So try a CAT5E or CAT6 cable and a different LAN port. And yes, that CFE could be causing problems.

    I've connected a 68U as both an AP and Node (same router with different configuration) through the WAN port and did not see a speed cap. Currently configured as an AiMesh wired node, I get speedtest scores around 900mbps.

    Yes, everything in /tmp will be gone at reboot. Some system directories and files are recreated during the boot.

    For web interface, try turning off Spanning-Tree Protocol (in LAN/Switch Control). Might need to reboot.

    If the threshold is unrealistic for your environment and a compromise threshold can't be found, it is best to disable Roaming. Check the Wireless log to see what the current clients RSSI values are. If any are below (more negative) that the setting in Professional, try lowering the threshold.

    Not sure what features are included in the TM-AC1900 firmware. Maybe Airtime Fairness in the Professional settings(both 2.4 and 5GHz)? I may of missed it in a quick scan of this thread. Is all the QoS stuff disabled?

    No, the nodes repeat the same SSIDs as the parent. They can be the same or different. I like knowing which I'm connected, so mine are different. My parent has smart connect disabled and I see both SSIDs on the nodes.

    If wireless mesh isn't working for you, and you have TV/Cable coax running to various places in/around your home, you can create a wired backhaul for nodes/APs using multiple MoCa adapters.

    Try turning off 5GHz Beamforming (both types) and Airtime Fairness.

    What is your ISP speed supposed to be? Most of use can't get that over wifi regardless of signal strength. Try turning off QoS (Adaptive QoS tab) Turn off Apps Analysis and on QoS tab turn off Enable QoS. Also turn off AiProtection. After changing the settings, reboot. See if speed improves. If...

    Try changing device names in the "View List" from the main screen. Seems to work fine on my AX3000 on 384.19
