    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

Here is a run where: 1. Disabled QoS manually prior to update (as I noticed QoS was on again) Aug 28 13:51:30 myrouter wan-failover.sh: WAN0 Failover Monitor - Monitoring wan0 via 8.8.8.8 for Failure Aug 28 13:51:30 myrouter wan-failover.sh: WAN0 Failover Monitor - Monitoring wan1 via 8.8.4.4...

Let me re-run the latest update and send it over. Might not be until later tonight though.

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

On initial start after update, it re-enabled QoS on my primary WAN0 connection although config says to keep it disabled on WAN0.

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

Got an error on the upgrade although my devmode=1 (detected etc.), so did a manual upgrade and restart. It re-enabled QoS on my Disabled WAN0 connection. Manually switched off QoS on it, and all good again.

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

Thanks and slapped this beta in for testing, specifically for this feature. Observation - QoS is only disabled on Failover and not reconfig/restart of the script. My expectation is that on reconfig/restart the QoS settings/toggle should be enabled/disabled based on configuration file. Thus, for...

Are Asus routers running ASUSWRT-Merlin affected by NAT Slipstreaming? Mitigations?

I've disabled all so far with no issue. I just need to add the lines to disable the FTP ALG once and for all. Will report if any other users reports anything on my end. Thanks for this heads up. I wonder if this can be added to a Skynet etc. best practice for hardening. I know @Adamm already...

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

Anything add-on specific that you want to track for the purpose of the add-on, keep it in a jffs/addons/wan-failover/ folder or perhaps the /jffs/configs/ folder like you do for the conf file. I look at the logger as just that -- audit, trace, debug log, not to be parsed for any add-on...

Or you could keep your status check file separate from the logs (which some power users shift around), to simplify your life.

Safe to test now for the looping and WAN1 detection for myself you figure?

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

No not at all. I do have site to site VPNs (with mine being the server) for a couple remote sites, but not for internet access, just LAN.

Perfection. Got some people remoted in now, so take your time. Will also be testing the Auto QoS settings at some point. Then perhaps look at selective off/on based on up/down speeds :P Assuming you are interested in going there! Cheers!
