    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

Ok cool, so two issues but one affecting the other, thus the loop. I'll track separately, with looping I guess being priority. Any tests you would like me to do, let me know. Cheers and thanks again.

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

Well WAN1 is in Hot Standby. I tested and it can ping the Target but not in Standby. As per the logs. I can install v13 and see if that behaviour changes if that helps. Thoughts appreciated.

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

Good day, Here you go. - Was running 14b overnight as mentioned. - Logged on around 7:57 - Did a restart of the service with 14e: Aug 14 08:00:00 router wan-failover.sh: System Check - Version: v1.5.6-beta14e - I don't think it should take over 4 mins to restart - Looped until I reverted...

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

I'll update in the morning and send logs. Rolled back to vanilla beta14 and no more loops! Sorry @Ranger802004 - gonna shut it down now. Back to 14b and still no loops. So hope that helps in tracking this down.

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

    @Stephen Harrington and @Ranger802004 Was just having a look at the code for QoS settings: [[ "$(nvram get qos_obw)" -gt "1024" ]] && logger -p 4 -st "${0##*/}" "WAN Switch - QoS Settings: Upload Bandwidth: $(($(nvram get qos_obw)/1024))Mbps" || logger -p 4 -st "${0##*/}" "WAN Switch - QoS...

Nope it didn't. It remained on 150/15.

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

During failover it was enabled. I checked the QoS GUI page and Speedtest and was getting the 150/15 cap instead of the 300/300. I then disabled it, and reported the issue - as I am on the 300/300 (which ideally, i would like to switch off when using), and have QoS only kick-in for my secondary...

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

Running Beta 13, and noticed that the QoS settings in the conf file wasn't being applied on Failover/Failback. Guess should enable debug logs and pass it over, or is this something easily reproduced? Primary: 400 up/down (prefer to disable QoS on this one if possible once running) Secondary...

    WANFailover Dual WAN Failover Script

@Ranger802004 - thank you kindly for this script. I am running the latest Beta, and use Cake as my QoS engine of choice. Does this script play nicely with Cake, or does it (as it appears), assume it's Traditional QoS? Reason I ask is that I see the following in the logs now. Trend is...

    Stuck commands

Started following this thread and thanks @dave14305 and co. for bringing it to the top of the pile. I have 3x RT-AC86Us that I highly suspect are exhibiting these symptoms. I'll let you folks know what I find as hopefully it helps with the info gathering and analysis. Results on the first...

    CakeQOS CakeQoS-Merlin v2.1.1

    1. Cake is now built-in to the firmware 2. This add-on provides additional config options for the built-in module 3. As such, you can uninstall the add-on (which you have done), but you cannot remove the core module built-in to the FW 4. I suspect this is isolated - as others would be reporting...

    Beamforming / Mu-MIMO / Airtime Fairness

All, This has been an updated and informative thread. From what I am reading, although universal beamforming and MU-MIMO have come a long way, it appears in most generic OOTB use cases to leave all OFF. If required for any special use cases, then one should carefully consider which option(s)...
