CakeQOS cake not working with AX58U on 386.1

Same is what I am thinking as well, else we would probably have more reported issues around the AX58U. @jata care to assist, as I don't have a device to test with. Cheers

CakeQOS cake not working with AX58U on 386.1

Thanks for the notes everyone. I've collapsed the open issues in Git to the main issue related to AX58U and Internet access as they do not use eth0 (as most other Asus routers) for their WAN but rather eth4. We are aware of it and will get around to correcting it. @Adamm and @dave14305 are both...

All good here if you are sir!

Skynet "Elvis has left the building ... "

Nice read through on this thread, and @Adamm has also been releasing CakeQOS updates as well. To be honest I don't like the auto-close after 6 months either, but I do prefer keeping track of issues in Github from a project development perspective.

    Suricata suricata_manager script

Hi folks! @rgnldo and @juched and all testers etc. congrats on this! I just got around to removing the old "manual" method and ran through the installer! Great work and apologies for the absence. @juched - I have no issue removing my repo or repointing all to yours if it helps sort out the...

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

I had a quick look through your posts and I suspect you are getting throttled by your ISP. If you have done lots of tweaking in CakeQOS, you can always record and revert back to the "defaults" and re-run your bloat tests. if you are using a tool like connmon I would also suggest looking at...

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

Hi I am game for your thoughts/input. I can get an Enhancement/Issue opened and thus the collab between @Adamm and co. Thanks for the quick reply.

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

On another note, in the original thread that got Cake-QOS going there was a teased GUI screenshot from a user @robcore who we haven't seen around these parts for some time. Here was his screenshot: Not suggesting the placement (prob better in Addons - since we disable native QoS), but for...

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

Hi @Odkrys We are hoping you can assist us around collab on understanding the build process/updates/new model support etc. @Adamm has an open issue here in regard to recompile of Cake/TC. Would appreciate your input if/when you have some time. Thanks again for this additional build!

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

Yup I did note your post as well and that's why I listed what I did, rather than re-installing all the scripts. I'd love if other users test the steps I went through above. It is worth a try before the nuclear option(s). Perhaps it may zero in that the culprit of all these issues is the...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

Ok, I have been following the thread, and I as well noticed the jffs2 issue on two routers. Myself I followed the steps below when I initially upgraded: 1. Full backup via nsru 2. Installed upgrade 3. Full format of jffs 4. Reboot 5. Restore jffs 6. Noticed error shortly thereafter Since then...

    CakeQOS CakeQOS-Merlin

Would have to look at some of your stats (especially under load), tied to your configuration. I've been absent due to work/fam commitments over the last month, so venturing back into the waters a bit. Glad to see the team keeping this going! For now: 1. Your ISP/connection(s) details as...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 384.19 is now available

Finally took the plunge (time permitting). I think it's good to just backup, reformat, restore jffs for the AC86U (rather than "if" you encounter issues). Cheers on this. Have two more to complete.
