    Is ZenWifi Pro a hoax?

Do you use wired or wireless backhaul? How is the stability of the network? I am thinking to upgrading to Asus ZenWifi thinking the grass is greener on the other side but not sure. I also do not like Netgear's customer support, they really show 0 care. I have a netgear repeater that works...

    Is ZenWifi Pro a hoax?

Mesh system is distributing APs just wirelessly Mesh system has been great for me and I can reach areas non-reachable before with much higher bandwidth its just the dropping signal I never understood whats in the "pro" APs like Ruckus and Cisco that makes them 10x the price

    Is ZenWifi Pro a hoax?

Asus is selling these 2 mesh units for a crazy $800+ and I am not sure how its different than the lower priced $400 ZenWifi. They boast it covers a wider area but last time I researched I found out that Wifi power is limited in all cases so each wifi antenna should reach about the same areas and...

Any one discovered a solution to Orbi Satellite dropping signal?

-ISP ranges a lot I am on 5G wireless internet home. Anything from 20Mbps to 500Mbps , but usually expect at least 200Mbps . Most of the time it will be 350Mbps + . This is for Wifi , testing from the router admin page (ethernet input) I have seen 850+Mbps -My home is big and is built with...

Any one discovered a solution to Orbi Satellite dropping signal?

-RBK50 -Whats wrong with ASUS ZenWIFI? any "best" mesh routers? -Orbi's RBK has dedicated 5GHz backhaul but it seems to use both 2.4ghz and 5ghz -If I could run wires I would have done a long time ago and install unifi access points -AiMesh is different from the dedicated zenWIFI mesh system...

Any one discovered a solution to Orbi Satellite dropping signal?

This is no use. If I put the routers further away from each other they lose bandwidth (due to more obstacles in between) degrading the wifi speed. If I bring them closer together they do not work well. This beats the purpose of this device which is to strengthen the signal of the wifi network...

    Why You Don't Need MU-MIMO

are you sure beamforming is ok? I think i tested it once and it gave a gain on 1 client but then totally deprived other clients from the bandwidth. both MU MIMO and beamforming come disabled by default on Orbi which makes me very wary of it.

    Why You Don't Need MU-MIMO

is there an update on this? is MU-MIMO good now or still will give degrading performance and problems with the wifi network?

Any one discovered a solution to Orbi Satellite dropping signal?

This problem seems to be all over the internet and I still have not found a solution. Does any one know more about this? I am thinking of switching to ASUS ZenWIFI. Does it have the same problem? are all mesh systems like that? Is there anything like "mesh system are too close together?" I...

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.22SF-HW

I have problem with Orbi satellite disconnections. One weird solution was that I have the satellite too close to the router. One would think a closer distance will make a stronger connection. I have since dropped 2.4mhz power to 50%. I have yet to test it to see if it works. I was wondering if...

    Disabling 2.4Ghz Backhaul

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.12SF-HW

Its no use, its doing the disconnections again. I think my Orbi has a hardware flaw. Its been only about a year. This is the most expensive and shortest lived router I have ever bought. I guess I will have to buy the ZenMesh.

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.12SF-HW

Guys do you know if it has any negative affect to choose which region you are in the admin page? Or does it just opens and bans certain channels in the router? Also I am having wierd disconnection issues, I noticed that in the time settings I have daylight savings auto-adjust is on and I am in...

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.12SF-HW

Hello Voxel and community, I have previously reported disconnections and Orbi frustrating dead signal. Maybe it had nothing to do with Voxel or Orbi Firmware issues. I have previously blocked netgear.com because it was sending information back to Netgear, which I do not know what exactly. I...

    Voxel Custom firmware build for Orbi RBK50/RBK53 (RBR50, RBS50) v. 9.2.5.2.11SF-HW

After days of testing , exchanging my previous ethernet cable with the cable that came with the Orbi, I can say Voxel firmware is extremely solid and stable. Not 1 disconnection. The only issue i faced was the speed throughput was halved which an Orbi restart fixed. I don't think this has to do...
