    so I got an r7000 that I can use as router and make the Orbi in AP mode, but how can I measure the performance of Orbi as router+Wireless Wifi vs AP mode only? does it have web interface? can you setup stuff like specifying outgoing DNS and give dedicated IP address to wach device? does it...

    Will wait for someone to measure this experiment for us, how significantly better performance you get out of the Orbi in AP mode vs Router. meanwhile, whats a good router to use with Orbi?

    i dont know, i never heard this personally i can tell you i am using it as a router and its doing a supreme job. If I use it just as AP will it perform better? We need someone to test that i am using voxel

    Voxel does what Netgear don't I feel sorry for anyone using Orbi with its finicky stock firmware without knowing about Voxel

    ah, yes... forced malfunctioning updates. Another reason I enjoy Voxel. I choose the firmware version.

    i think you should run a mixed model, some from patreon, some from ethical ads, some from Amazon links...etc. Is there a way to associate my Amazon account with a specific afiliate so whenever I buy something they get a cut too instead of having to go to their site and click their link?

    if it works on stock it should work on voxel. my guess is if you can find a USB to ethernet adapter and connect it in the back of the orbi in the internet/wan port it should work

    if everything works great why change to voxel? it works for all of us so something must be wrong on your end. This firmware works with RBK50 ONLY ,, do you have rbk20 or AX?

    My iOS devices and specifically iphone disconnects sometimes from Orbi and reconnects. Any one notices this? Also, is it a good idea to enable 20/40Mhz? doesnt it pull down the network to lower speeds? is using channel 1 and 36 any better than using 6 and 48 respectively? Am I wrong to think...

    I noticed many forums choose XenForo now, why is that? Not sure if the old one was vBulletin but certainly had that early 2000s vBulletin look. I remember it was the king of forum software until it became a bloated mess. I am surprised by XebForo since its the new kid on the block with paid...
