    Ad Blocker Question

After installing Unbound I tried to test my VPN's security. I use ExpressVPN. The IP address is safe, while I have DNS leaks, there the test tells me that I am connected to ExpressVPN but that I have DNS leaks. Didn't happen before, how can I fix it?

    Ad Blocker Question

Thanks everyone for the answers. I installed both Diversion and Unbound, everything works fine. It even seems to me that the navigation and the router itself is faster. Diversion and Unbound self-update like Skynet or do I need to update them via AMTM?

    Ad Blocker Question

I installed it, it seems a good thing to me. At the beginning I had a page that told me about the CPU, memory, etc. which I no longer have. Is there an optimal configuration? I am using the basic configuration.

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

You're right, you probably don't need it. I rebooted and NVRAM is at 57142 and is more like that. I wonder why when I use that command, the NVRAM goes to 49800, but if you don't need it, don't waste time. The router is fine

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

Exactly. It's a little stuff but it happens. However, I cannot manage to create the cronjob which is loaded on boot and then executed according to my rules. The command is this: for line in `nvram show | grep% [% =] * = $ `; do var = $ {line% * =}; nvram unset $ var; done; nvram commit So I...

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

I'll put my NVRAM data here now after I reboot etc. The value increases by about 10 bytes per day as the days go by. I doubt there is anything wrong. I set up my 8 devices with each their own static IP address, I have 5 OpenVPN servers, installed skynet, flexqos, amtm, etc. etc. All the steps I...

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

Even with space consolidation, NVRAM increases a little bit by the day. I ran the script I indicated above and the NVRAM went from 60022 to 49754. However using WinSCP I entered the command inside the / jffs / script / folder inside the services-start file

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

After reboot it doesn't save the cronjob I gave it. I saw in the guides that I have to save it as a script, can someone help me?

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

    Here is the cronjob I created to have the router automatically run once a day at midnight: cru a NVRAMService '* 0 * * * for line in `nvram show | grep ^ [^ =] * = $ `; do var = $ {line% * =}; nvram unset $ var; done; nvram commit ' It should be correct

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

By running this command: for line in `nvram show | grep ^ [^ =] * = $ `; do var = $ {line% * =}; nvram unset $ var; done; nvram commit NVRAM shrinks, I wanted to know if this command can do damage. At this point it is best to create a cronjob so that the router executes the command daily

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

I have a question. I have noticed that NVRAM increases very little almost daily, is this normal?

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

That graphic thing I reported yesterday is gone, I don't know what it could be due to, however it didn't have to do with the performance of the router. Meanwhile, we are almost 5 days of operation without restarting and without problems. Never a disconnect

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

At the moment, the beta 2 of gnuton has been running for 3 and a half days without any reboots and without any problems. Tonight entering the control page, I notice a kind of blue distortion in the background, I think it's just a graphic matter. It wasn't there before, probably it disappears...

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

I have now installed the new version without any problems. But now I can only say that the command page of the router has also turned, never been so fast and fluid. We will see in a few days how it behaves but for now I don't see any trouble

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

By installing the GNUton firmware from scratch, even doing a master reset, all those weird logs are gone. I put back the same addon as before. I have Skynet, FlexQOS, swap enabled, AMTM etc. Same adjustments of the DSL part, indeed a setting even more aggressive than the DSL. It has been going...

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

We want to share my experience, maybe it can be useful to someone. I had installed the 384 and I decided to do a master reset and configure everything from scratch: the firmware behaved well. Yesterday I decided to do the same thing with the 386. In the past I didn't do the master reset, this...

Beta [DSL-AC68U] Asuswrt-Merlin 386.x Alphas for DSL-AC68U are now available

I understand, thank you. This morning the router still made some boring disconnections but then it was hard to hang up the devices. I decided to install your 384 stable version on the router, reset to factory values and reconfigured everything from scratch. Now it seems to be fine, I'll see what...
