    ok tried the nvram erase and that did not work either. when i go back into the dhcp screen it still shows all the dhcp fixed ip addresses even though the setting is turn off. :(

    yea that was a concern of mine too which is why i posted that question a while back. Most answer did not think it was an issue. but i did start to use the internal schedule and not the smart plug

    keep loosing dhcp table

    i cant run merlin I have a GT ac5300 router but it does sound like that the file is maxed out. now i can add or delete from this file, even a factory reset wont delete this file so i need a way to wipe this manually but have no idea how.

    which is why i posted here. the router works ans really dont have any other issues except i can delete things from this screen.

    doesn't work. when i delete the entry and click apply it just comes backs. If i delete the file and change screens and come back it still there. like i said i cant get rid of it

    ok went back and did this, no change. I have no reset through the gui, wps and the reset button at least 5 times. I even upgraded to the latest release (which i did not want to do) in hopes that it would erase or clear that file. still no change. I still get the dhcp list of devices even though...

    ok well I knew that jumbo frames only pertain to ethrnet wired connections and i only have a few wired connections (nas, printer and 2 cameras) so it was a thought that the speed coming through the access points back to the main router would be improved if they could push more traffic thorough...

    I have a Gt ac5300 router as my main and 2 rt-ac86u connected my wired Ethernet. I am thinking if I turn on jumbo frames that the throughput from the ac86u's to the main router and vice versa will be improved? thoughts? Greg

    that's what i found. I upgraded and within 2 days i started to experience wireless clients dropping off. Rebooting router would fix things for a day or so then same issue. I downgraded and all is well again.
