    AP Mode typically works better since the RBR has less operations to perform with not having router and DHCP services and other items it doesn't have to perform while in AP mode.     He only builds for the 50 series Orbi. The only model hardware he has to develop on.

    Ok, thank you Voxel for let me know. I hear you about trying to reverse engineer and Time and Trials. Just seems odd that what ever works in stock FW, something that changes with your FW break the reset function. Seems like that feature would be kind of a global feature across NG router...

    RBK is a Kit. If you referring to the RBR50 then I have't seen anyone here convert it. I would hope there is a way to get it back from RBS to RBR as well. Seems kind of risky. I would reference the reddit thread regarding the conversion. Good luck.

    Hi Voxel, Just curious to know if you have address the factory reset button and UI ERASE button feature for your FW yet? Or do users still have to revert to stock FW, factory reset then apply your FW? Thank you for your time and efforts.

    Seen a few NG forum posters posting they have been seeing v2.7x coming thru Orbi app. Seems to be causing some problems so having them revert back to v16. NG hasn't pushed v2.5.2.4 has of yet officially from there download site. Not sure if there waiting or what. Those links to the update...

    I have not. Unchecking the check box next to 20/40Mhz sets 40Mhz only. It only sets the connection rate to a slower rate between the RBR/RBS to the connected wifi device only. Channels 1, 6 or 11 are recommended for any primary use by users. You can use any other 5Ghz channels as you wish...

    You may want to convert to Voxels FW as v2.5.2.4 haven't been officially posted. The update seems to be coming out via auto update for users who have v30 of stock FW loaded. Users of v16 like me are not seeing this update yet. NG may push the FW to the download site maybe this week or next...

    OK, My windows 7 PC sent the file and the RBR50 is now recovered to Stock FW. Must be something on my Windows 10 PC not working for TFTP and Orbi for some reason.
