    Release ASUS RT-AX88U Firmware Version 3.0.0.4.386.48631 (2022/04/25)

Im pretty sure this is something to do with settings. the million dollar question is what. Question... Why have you disabled Roaming Assistant? if you are using Aimesh wouldn't it make sense to have that enabled? With R.A disabled do you have to manually connect to your different nodes?

    Release ASUS RT-AX88U Firmware Version 3.0.0.4.386.48631 (2022/04/25)

Done it all and still having this problem. Just because its working for you doesn't mean there isn't a firmware problem. My router settings may differ to yours which could be the source of this problem. The problem isn't the ethernet cable because wifi devices cannot connect to the node on 5...

    Release ASUS RT-AX88U Firmware Version 3.0.0.4.386.48631 (2022/04/25)

This is what happens when i disable 2.4ghz mode. GUI shows i have disabled 5ghz and the 2.4 ghz isn't visible. FTR i dont use 2.4ghz as all my wireless devices sit on the 5ghz spectrum and the router is using Ethernet backhaul mode.

This firmware has stopped clients from connecting to the node via wifi. Also all clients connected to node via ethernet does not show up under Aimesh. Reverting back to previous firmware solves problem. Running 2 x Ax88u

    ipv6

Hi all, Trying to get my head around the ipv6 protocol. The one thing i keep reading is ipv6 isn't as secure as ipv4. As you all know the internet is always awash with opinions of all kinds. So i thought i'd come to my trusted source and ask. Is ipv6 safe? Should i be activating ipv6 on my...

    Assigning IP Addresses

Thanks for confirming this. Another Q. When disabling DHCP the router pops up a message warning regards the mesh nodes being effected. will this cause problems with static devices connecting to the node?

    Assigning IP Addresses

Just a quick question. When assigning ip addresses within the Asus GUI (LAN>DHCP) Should this be done outside the DHCP range? For example. DHCP is set by default to run .2 to .255 so should i be moving this to .2 to 100 and manually assign my devices from .101 to 255?
