    I would call optimum and check if you get your own modem just from internet and use their modem for voice, do you have still have to pay modem rental? If no rental is needed for using theirs for voice, I will go with 1Gig modem like CM1000 or CM1100 and save some cost on your purchase.

    What region are you in? I am in USA and 160MHz shows up in 5GHz-2 on regular release firmware as well as beta.

    I am able to set DNS servers in Automatic mode. I am using a beta firmware but I am pretty sure it was working in older firmware also.

    Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

    Upgraded GT-AX1100 to RC2-10 and enabled AI Protection to test it out. Just realized that I am unable to send videos in WhatsApp. Disabled AI Protection and it is working now. Didn't try AI Protection in earlier versions so don't know if it was working in earlier versions. Will downgrade later...

    I like this feature and have been using this for my ring floodcam. When the node is down, devices that are bound to that node will connect to other available nodes.

    I set 2.4 GHz channel bandwidth to 40 MHz and enabled Bluetooth coexistance. I am seeing a lot better performance in 2.4 GHz and looks stable for a day. Will update if I see issues. I am using the latest beta firmware.

    Anyone have recommended settings for 2.4GHz settings for better performance? 2.4GHz is fluctuating a lot at different times of the day. Have used static channel and the issue is not solved.

    I was able to get one from Amazon for $400 and it is HW Version 1.1. Anyone if this is better than the previous version? I had the previous version and it was not good.
