    That setting propogates across to the node. Doorbell is offline now. Better remove filter :)

    I have a doorbell which catches signal from both router and node. Is there a way to lock it to node?

    Best you read back through the thread to see the history on Guest Network. It's not currently supported.

    I've been using OpenVPN on stock for over 12 months. I still have the option but latest AiMesh now has IPsec so I'm using that now.

    OpenVPN is supported on stock and AiMesh firmwares. The latest AiMesh even supports IPsec.

    Tested with Edge and Fire Fox on Windows 10. No issues with either browser, both default to Status tab.

    Right, I have misunderstood. I see no reason why that wouldn’t work, every mesh and extender on the market supports that use. I would say it’s a bug.

    I have an RT-AC88U as router and RT-AC68U as node. I just followed set up instructions in PDF, haven’t touched MAC addresses and units are connected wirelessly.

    I disagree. Aimesh is working great here. ASUS now give you a choice, buy their dedicated mesh solution if starting out or if you already have some of their gear use AiMesh.

    Merlin has stated here that source code is not available to him. Maybe once beta is finished it will happen?

    The PDF included with firmware has faq’s. “How many AMAS routers could be added in a system? We suggest less than 5 nodes, basically 2 nodes will provide extreme coverage for different house types.”

    Awesome. So just update router firmware first, then node via router GUI?
