    I thought I just $$$-ed up my router loading your link...I had to reset to default settings and then load my settings again....Phew. I will never load anything other then the fw on asus site. How do you check the mem via telnet connection with dmesg? Was this less before this fw...

    One more bug, my N66U screws up my Pioneer AVR hostname, instead of VSX-1121, itunes/ipod now (while doing airplay) show bridgeco FAB445 (last 6 charact are part of the MAC). It must be the last fw... Anybody else got this? Thanks!

    Could be. However, please keep in mind there is no perfect router switch etc. A reboot flashes out the tables etc., and starts off clean on all levels. As an analogy, if you don't reboot a PC for a long time and you just put it in sleep mode etc, suspending all services/processes, at some point...

    Not always listed? Really? I haven't encountered one instance where I have a hdd plugged into one of the USB's and not seeing it in windows explorer...

    Just go in windows explorer under network and you will see your drive listed on the right side (RT-N66U)....

    I have had dir-655 for quite some time, now it's decommissioned. Man this Asus beats the crap out of all. Get it you won't regret. It's like in photography if you keep waiting for the perfect camera you will never take any photos. That new standard is likely to have lots of bugs for a long time...

    Not all my clients are N. Even with this setting (auto) I connect @ 300M. Also that 40M does not really apply to my setting, there is quite a distance between houses, big lot size etc, lake in between.
