    wifi 6 (AX11000) is actually *worse* on my network than wifi 5. I use it as an extender to my AX5300, which has far better performance by clients (including the aforementioned AX11000, as an extender).

    based on my experience with it, the AC5300 (not even the GT5300) has a stronger radio and WiFi 6 is junk. So not sure it's even worth $300, even with all its fancy quad-core crap.

The reason I stay with Asus (for now) is ability to configure - enterprise gear (i.e. Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, etc) is either more limited or requires enterprise MANAGEMENT software to configure, tune, monitor.     Import Merlin settings > original/non-Merlin firmware

    Apologies if this has been asked, but is it possible to import Merlin settings (i.e. AC5300) to a non-Merlin device (i.e. AX11000)? I don't want to go through the motions and barf my network... (don't have visibility into what is saved in the CFG file)
