Will VPN work when RT-N66U operates as an access point?

Yes - with some manual work You can enable OpenVPN in Access Point mode but you have to perform all of the operations manually using a remote shell. You also have to have jffs enabled so you can write configuration files and perform the installation. I have my router setup this way and...
