    I just never thought about the AX router not working with the network cards that on in my old laptops.. Not being that computer literate, I assumed that the driver updates would keep everything working with current spec. But that what forces everyone to upgrade the hardware! LOL

    Thank you, I am not a social media user so can't sell it . But should the 2.4 g be faster with the AX than the AC router. Well having said that, I guess with the old network cards it probably won't be any faster as it is limited to N or AC.

    I have been able to connect 5G to a couple of Android devices, I.E. Phones and TV's. but no Windows Computers. My old router was an AC not AX. Do I need a different network driver other than below? Qualcomm Atheros AR9485WB-EG Wireless Network Adapter Thanks

    sort of an update. After spending over and hour and half on the phone with tech support they finally got the speeds up to blazing 36 to 45 Mbps but only on 2.4 . Never got 5 G connected and they have up scaled me to a higher tech support who will contact in 2 or 3 days. So far I am not happy...
