RT-AX88U can't keep settings through reboots

Yes! Thank you very much for this.

RT-AX88U can't keep settings through reboots

Thank you again. I'll follow your guides and hope nothing weird will happen again. Btw it would be very nice if I could export/import the LAN > DHCP > Manually Assigned IP configuration. I'm assigning static IPs for most of my devices to keep a bit of tracking. It's a PITA I have to set...

RT-AX88U can't keep settings through reboots

Thank you for the guide. I did a full reset and flashed the new 386.1_beta2. Everything works fine again. Later, I'll attach the USB flash drive for entware and hope it'll still be ok. For the record, the only thing I've changed to my network a week ago, is that I've hooked a TP-Link PLC. Not...

RT-AX88U can't keep settings through reboots

Hi, Got my RT-AX88U for some time now, flashed with Asuswrt-Merlin after the very first boot. Everything was fine, I was on 384.19, got AMTM, Diversion, everything working nicely. Today, a reboot happened and I faced the "Welcome to RT-AX88U" screen that prompts to setup a new network...

Plex Media Server running on AsusWRT Arm Routers!!!

Sorry for my noob question. Yes indeed I use a swap partition. Could you please point me how to change to the swap file? Thanks again. Edit: I did my googling and sorted it out :). Will try a 4GB swap and check again. My guess for the swap running out is that almost all agents are running all...

Plex Media Server running on AsusWRT Arm Routers!!!

Hi, I followed the guide and installed the Plex Media Server on my RT-AX88U. So, first things first. Awesome job. Everything worked perfectly! Thank you for your contribution @TeHashX !. I have 3 libraries, Movies (4k files), TV Shows (1080p files) and Music (very large one with flac files). I...

Can't use volume labels as mount points for HFS disk partitions

I'm using most of them, DLNA, SAMBA, UPnP. I guess I'll go for ext4 and leave the HFS for TimeMachine.

Can't use volume labels as mount points for HFS disk partitions

Thank you @ColinTaylor. Yes, my main interaction is with macOS, thus the HFS. A couple of years ago I tried the exFAT format but the drivers were unstable. I guess I'll have to check compatibility of my streaming devices for ext4 and try that too. Migrating some TBs of data will be painful...

Can't use volume labels as mount points for HFS disk partitions

Do you know if there is any way to keep mount configuration (e.g. `fstab`)? And since the device paths can change with reboots, is there any point after all to do it? I guess I must find a way to reformat my partitions to something less Apple.

Can't use volume labels as mount points for HFS disk partitions

Hi, Just got my `RT-AX88U` and I flashed the `Asuswrt-Merlin` v384.15 firmware. I've installed `entware` too. So, I have an 8T external disk with 5 HFS partitions attached to the front USB port of the router. For some reason it doesn't use the volume labels as mount points but the device...

    RT-AC5300 vs GT-AC5300

Well thanks for that! Sorry I couldn't find that thread from search. I'll read it, but without merlin support I think I'm not going to invest on it :).

    RT-AC5300 vs GT-AC5300

Ops! Wrong paste. Fixed. And yes, I started considering that choice just for the specs. And I was hoping for an merlin release as the stock fw and UI are awful.

    RT-AC5300 vs GT-AC5300

That's nice! But, I can't get it from there. I'm waiting for a price drop in the greek market too though.

    RT-AC5300 vs GT-AC5300

Yes it is. But I'm going for the tri-band. I know, a bit overkill :)

    RT-AC5300 vs GT-AC5300

Yeap, the deal breaking feature for me is the Merlin support! I already have the DSL-AC68U and I hate it I can't try the Merlin firmware. Thanks again and sorry for reposting! (no results in search though)
