TAILMON How to use EXIT Nodes?

Sorry about that... looks like it hit the 6-month mark... I've created a new TAILMON thread here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/tailmon-v1-0-20-july-27-2024-wireguard-based-tailscale-installer-configurator-and-monitor-now-available-in-amtm.92874/

TAILMON TAILMON v1.0.20 -July 27, 2024- WireGuard-based Tailscale Installer, Configurator and Monitor (Now available in AMTM!)

Advanced Options: 1.) From the main UI, you can press (C) for the Configuration/Setup Menu (or you can get to this same screen directly using sh /jffs/scripts/tailmon.sh -setup). This menu also functions as the "Advanced Install" menu, giving you full control over the install/uninstall of the...

TAILMON TAILMON v1.0.20 -July 27, 2024- WireGuard-based Tailscale Installer, Configurator and Monitor (Now available in AMTM!)

How do I set up TAILMON and Tailscale!? Here are steps on installing the script and getting it configured for Tailscale... 1.) First, go to https://tailscale.com, and create a free account. The free version of Tailscale lets you manage up to 3 individual user accounts, and 100 devices! That...

TAILMON TAILMON v1.0.20 -July 27, 2024- WireGuard-based Tailscale Installer, Configurator and Monitor (Now available in AMTM!)

TAILMON v1.0.20 Released July 27, 2024 First off – Wanted to give huge thanks to @jksmurf for lighting this fire… He opened my eyes to Tailscale and its capabilities, and only became natural to want to fullfill his wishes to create a formal installer/monitor for this valuable tool for others to...

BACKUPMON BACKUPMON v1.8.20 -Oct 12, 2024- Backup/Restore your Router: JFFS + NVRAM + External USB Drive! CIFS/SMB/NFS! (Now available in AMTM!)

Yeah I'd doublecheck to make sure source and target are different, and that it's dropping backup files where they are supposed to be going. I may not have had the proper messaging anticipated for this particular USB scenario.

New models to be introduced with 3006.102.2

That's exactly why its shielded! SSH is blazingly fast now. I might go for a dual fiber nic next and make this 1GB port scream!

New models to be introduced with 3006.102.2

Hey I counted at least 3 commas in that super long mega run-on sentence! :p

New models to be introduced with 3006.102.2

I'm really glad I picked up that set of ROG shielded fiber cables to hook up my PC to the 1GB port on the router! A little pricey, but well worth it. Of course I didn't expect that I would also need the ROG-branded fiber->ethernet transceivers either... definitely sticker shock, but that 1GB...

BACKUPMON BACKUPMON v1.8.20 -Oct 12, 2024- Backup/Restore your Router: JFFS + NVRAM + External USB Drive! CIFS/SMB/NFS! (Now available in AMTM!)

When the target media type is "network", it will always unmount after the backup completes. Have you tried specifying it as the "usb" media type? When it's set to USB, then it won't unmount.

About to pull my hair out - RT-AX88U Pro 2.4 Wireless clients dropping

If LAN is dropping too, then you definitely have bigger fish to fry. Agreed... may be a lemon.

About to pull my hair out - RT-AX88U Pro 2.4 Wireless clients dropping

Have you considered configuring the wifi per some of the best practices found on this forum? If you're aggressive with your settings, or incorrectly choosing things willy-nilly, you're going to experience disconnects.

RTRMON RTRMON v2.1.3 -Oct 19, 2024- Monitor your Router's Health (New: AMTM, Network Conn/Bandwidth/Diag + Port Scanner + Speedtest)

Love that new feature, @Martinski... :) I believe what @visortgw is actually after is pausing the scrolling of the screen on page #7. He's got so many devices between wireless, wired, vlan, etc, that it literally scrolls off the screen.

BACKUPMON BACKUPMON v1.8.20 -Oct 12, 2024- Backup/Restore your Router: JFFS + NVRAM + External USB Drive! CIFS/SMB/NFS! (Now available in AMTM!)

Correct... in order to restore through the script, you would want the target restoration device to have the same label name as what the source originally was. Ideally, you want to backup to an external network source... so when you ultimately replace your USB flashdrive with an SSD, you can...

VPNMON VPNMON-R3 v1.3.7 -Oct 20, 2024- Monitor WAN/Dual-WAN/OpenVPN Health & Reset Multiple OpenVPN Connections (Now available in AMTM!)

That pretty much sums me up to the T right there... LOL 😂 That's the one! You are amazing! I can't wait to see how you approached this. I had always figured that because it's a shell script, that keyboard input was just inserting itself into the lengthy calculations running in the background...

VPNMON VPNMON-R3 v1.3.7 -Oct 20, 2024- Monitor WAN/Dual-WAN/OpenVPN Health & Reset Multiple OpenVPN Connections (Now available in AMTM!)

You must be mistaken! My code is 100% error free! Lol 😂 Thanks @Martinski! I had been working on a key press suppression tactic for some time without luck. A known issue is especially repeatable in rtrmon... Directly after the 10sec loop, and before the loop starts over, it runs through a...

BACKUPMON BACKUPMON v1.8.20 -Oct 12, 2024- Backup/Restore your Router: JFFS + NVRAM + External USB Drive! CIFS/SMB/NFS! (Now available in AMTM!)

No, you could do it, but may take a bit of manual work. It may be easier to copy your backup to a network location, then unplug the USB key, attach the SSD, make sure the label names are the same, and go through the standard restore process.

RTRMON RTRMON v2.1.3 -Oct 19, 2024- Monitor your Router's Health (New: AMTM, Network Conn/Bandwidth/Diag + Port Scanner + Speedtest)

Oh, I'm certifiable alright... just don't have the paper to prove it just yet.

RTRMON RTRMON v2.1.3 -Oct 19, 2024- Monitor your Router's Health (New: AMTM, Network Conn/Bandwidth/Diag + Port Scanner + Speedtest)

BAHAHA... OMG, I totally forgot about that feature. Now if I can only remember what the heck it turns off. ;) Oh yeah... it was dealing with errors you would normally get from WAN0, which wouldn't be present on an iMesh node. ;)
