    Perhaps try reverting to 1.8.14?

    BACKUPMON BackupMon Failing

Usually there's an associated tar error along with it? If I don't already have some, I'll create a few fake .tmp files and see if I get any similar results.

    BACKUPMON BackupMon Failing

The code hasn't really seen much change since July 4. The patch right after was basically a URL change.

    BACKUPMON BackupMon Failing

Starting to wonder if there's some concurrent jobs or other scripts interfering around that time?

What does the error log say about this?

    BACKUPMON BackupMon Failing

Lol. Well, if you go into the setup, you can specify that you DO want to backup your swap, which will set BACKUPSWAP=1, and should remove *.swp from your exclusion list?

    BACKUPMON BackupMon Failing

I'm wondering why you are manually removing the swap file? You have configured the script to exclude the swap file, so BACKUPSWAP=0. When this is 0, then at multiple checks throughout the script, it may try to add your myswap.swp to your exclusion list automatically if it's not in there.

    BACKUPMON BackupMon Failing

Let me look into it. Thanks for the further clues! Believe it or not, but something similar happened to me recently with a different file. I ended up deleting the file, and recreating it, and then it started working normally.

    BACKUPMON BackupMon Failing

Backups are currently done "on-the-fly"... the filelist is created as the tar is created. Which is used to verify integrity. Doesn't make sense that secondaries fail... or not failing when running manual - it uses the same code. Can you tell me what frequency/basic/adv/etc.?

    BACKUPMON BackupMon Failing

For the record... I'm not seeing any of these kinds of failures on my end. ;)

BACKUPMON BACKUPMON v1.8.20 -Oct 12, 2024- Backup/Restore your Router: JFFS + NVRAM + External USB Drive! CIFS/SMB/NFS! (Now available in AMTM!)

Backup frequency is asked for in the secondary backup setup/config section... it's definitely used! It can be different than your primary. Seeing you're only needing an infrequent backup, you might just want to copy one of the primary backups over to some other folder every so often... that...

BACKUPMON BACKUPMON v1.8.20 -Oct 12, 2024- Backup/Restore your Router: JFFS + NVRAM + External USB Drive! CIFS/SMB/NFS! (Now available in AMTM!)

Right... It's meant to do a full secondary backup that mirrors the primary, just to a different location.

TAILMON TAILMON v1.0.20 -July 27, 2024- WireGuard-based Tailscale Installer, Configurator and Monitor (THREAD #1 CLOSED)

Its a basic entry-level script for those not familiar with the installation procedure, or how to edit cfg files with the various options needed. The only other thing of interest is that it will force the tailscale service to start after a router reboot if it didn't come back up automatically...

RTRMON RTRMON v2.1.3 -Oct 19, 2024- Monitor your Router's Health (New: AMTM, Network Conn/Bandwidth/Diag + Port Scanner + Speedtest)

New Beta 12 -- hey at least sorting works! Had to stop further development on being able to find ways to identify devices on different VLANs... so for now, all LAN and VLAN clients are combined together. Thanks @visortgw for your willingness to pitch in and help with this! We will get there...

Question - How Does Wireless Log determine Connected time?

I thought I was on the right path when everything started lining up like that... ugh. Will keep searching... thank you!

Question - How Does Wireless Log determine Connected time?

I am continuing to hit a wall here... So we were able to find the vlan tags in nvram here: apg_ifnames=br53 br54 br55 And found these corresponding vlan-tag nvram variables that show all the virtual network interfaces in use apg_br53_fh_wlifnames=wl0.52 wl1.52 wl2.52 wl3.52...

TAILMON TAILMON v1.0.20 -July 27, 2024- WireGuard-based Tailscale Installer, Configurator and Monitor (THREAD #1 CLOSED)

I would say, it would probably also add for some redundancy... if the synology went down for some reason, being able to access other devices through your router would be the way to go, or to try to remotely troubleshoot the synology.

Gotcha. I seem to have missed the fallout. Thanks for the info.
