    [ 3006.102 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

I'd probably keep MLO disabled since it's pretty buggy. With my two BE 98 pro's it does not support MLO on the other router so yeah take it with a grain of salt. Now I did read read a review of the new BQ16 Pro with AFC and MLO enabled and working on newer firmware that actually had really great...

GT-BE98 Pro Firmware 34491 Issues w/ Arlo Doorbell

You could make one network alone for the arlo and isolate it sure. Don't see a problem. That way you can also make it just be 2.4 ghz using wpa2.

GT-BE98 Pro Firmware 34491 Issues w/ Arlo Doorbell

Yes, you probably need to create an iot network which the latest firmware already does. Go to the guest wifi area and you will see default iot which uses 2.4/5 ghz with WPA2 encryption. That's what you should connect your cameras to. So it's already there no need to make a new one unless you...

Release ASUS GT-BE98 Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_34491

After some troubleshooting I ended up finding out that if you turn off the guest netowrk pro default IOT network it breaks DOT. I guess I'll do a feedback to asus. This caused some headache! If I turn it back on then DOT work fine with MLO enabled.

Release ASUS GT-BE98 Pro Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_34491

I had to do a full factory reset after upgrade. DOT would not work. After the rest it worked for a while but then again stopped working. Just odd. Any settings in DOT will simply not connect. I tried google, cloudflare, cleanbrowsing.

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

Definitely not a bad idea since the axe16000 has had plenty of firmware updates and you'll be using a 2.5 switch anyway. Wifi 7 will take a long time to become more of a standard anyway everywhere. And if you have no wifi 7 devices anyway, then there is no need to upgrade. It also is not a bad...

    BE98 DNS over TLS Problem

Hmm I am using DOT with nextdns and have had zero issues honestly. I know for me these settings have to be turned to NO: No issues ever since I set it up day one. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents. I even setup controld for testing using DOT and had zero issues.

    ASUS GT-BE98 Pro Firmware

Yea I don't see samsung ever really fix their wifi issues if they haven't done it for like 4-5 different generation of phones yet. Might convince me to use a different phone in future. We'll see. At least for now my s22 ultra works fairly good with the smart connect feature combining 5ghz with...

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

Kind of curious to know as well. It could be cost cutting measures who knows. Wouldn't think the hardware would magically be any different or have noticable improvements.

Asus RT BE98 Pro dual 6GHZ bands question

The BE98 is the one you want probably for your country where 5Ghz is split into two, not the 6 ghz. BE98 Pro is for the USA I think only. Plus it's probably more wise to wait a while for firmware to mature.

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

I've been testing out the smart connect feature combing the 5ghz + 6ghz-1 + 6ghz-2. Been working far better than I expected, quiet impressive actually. The band steering works flawlessly. It almost feels like I am on both 5ghz and 6ghz band in same time getting excellent range and speed even...

    ASUS GT-BE98 Pro Firmware

Honestly the axe16000 was a similar experience and they started releasing firmware updates after a few months so it's nothing surprising. I am really loving then BE98 PRO and don't have any issues honestly with two of them in a aimesh. I left all settings to default and all devices are working...

    It's time to buy RT-BE96U?

Check newegg. They tend to have it in stock more often than asus store.

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

Yup that's pretty much how I have mine setup. Separate each SSID for different devices. All my cameras and IOT devices are working great. Signal is awesome too.

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

Damn that's some crazy speeds! Hopefully they release firmware for the PRO model soon as well.

Solved Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Doesn't Detect 6Ghz Band on Wifi Router

I definitely noticed the 6ghz bands showing up immediately on my S21/S22 ultra phones when I turned off the "Switch to better wifi networks" under intelligent wifi settings on my BE98 Pro. I sent feedbck to asusi for whatever it's worth I guess. More of a samsung issue anyway. Maybe it will...

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

Oh yea that's right almost forgot. Guess we'll see when the firmware updates come. Probably will be soon anyway once people start buying this more. It's been out of stock at newegg constantly.

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

Yes I actually sent feedback to asus about that. When you enable ethernet backhaul only 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz band show up, no 6 ghz. AND what it does is overwrite the wifi password for 5 ghz! I had to go back and re-enter it. It would take the 2.4 ghz password use it on the 5 ghz so no clients...

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

Without a doubt there is definitely some weird aimesh issues. Like I have the channel selected for 5 ghz but it is still showing auto channel selection. I know its working great but its just not showing it on the webui. Tried clearing cache of my browser too. Curious, did you by any chance...

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

I do not use smart connect. But yes I do have clients on the 5 ghz channel on the node that are connected working with no issues.
