    Using OVPN custom scripts directives in the OVPN Server GUI allows you to finely control clients when/how they connect.....and even put them on the naughty-step as punishment when they disconnect if you deem that they should endure a lockout for breach of your access rules/conditions etc...

    Unbound is capable of supporting Split-horizon DNS using its Tags and Views feature based on source IP (or even interface) but interpretation of 'simple' for the necessary config directives for Unbound will vary for each individual. Not sure if this is relevant/information is useful?

    Assuming the import type=server correctly imported the .conf into the correct SQL database table (diag sql server), and it is eligible to be started by wgm, then there may be an undisclosed error during the status query - then you would need to supply a debug output for the status command.

    FYI,,, I've uploaded experimental wg_manager v4.19b5 to the dev branch on GitHub. So when starting a 'client' Peer in policy mode, it will populate the 'blog' files (if they are available within the firmware e.g. v388.2b1? and the model is supported) and will intelligently remove the entries...

    On my RT-AX86_Pro, Uninstall/re-Install does allow Scribe to start and be basically functional despite the .conf version check error? but the version check needs to be fixed.

    Apparently (even after two years?) there were/are requests to VyprVPN from their subscribers for VyprVPN to publish their Wireguard configuration files but to no avail. Unlike their OpenVPN configs, they seemingly adamantly wish to enforce use of ONLY their VyprVPN app (on selected platforms)...
