    Hi, I can only say that i'm using about half of the packages you've listed and haven't encountered any issues. The best solution would be to make a backup before.

    ...aaand after the first day the free domain (entware-backports.ga) got suspended for not having a website :( I've registered entware-backports.tk and uploaded the first post in a wp hoping to get validation :)

    you could run wireguard if you switch to dd-wrt (the're on 3.10 kernel - lowest supported by wireguard) and also it's very likely possible to modify Diversion to run on dd-wrt but you loose merlin...choices..choices :)

    I managed to test mine about 20 min on Sunday so the pppoe connection was up more than 3 min. Unfortunately i didn;t had the chance to put it back in production - but it's planned for today.

    RT-AC68u with Merlin firmware bricked?

    the web upgrade just calls mtd-write2 so it's hard to lock this utility but even if they will you can always copy it in jffs or /tmp (ram) and run it from there every time you upgrade. As a workaround to hte locked CFE and no ssh you can open the case and connect via serial console :)
