    Yeah I guess thorough would be a better choice of words. Haha. Is the 86 better than 68 in terms of power output though? I might be thinking of getting another 68 and messing with it. Pity I can't find a certain user who ends with mes firmware anywhere on the internet. Should have kept a copy.

    It says RT, doesnt have DSL anywhere on the router. So i guess.. I'm safe? My question was more pertaining to the hardware rev. i think it's e1, but honestly have no way of confirming since it didn't come in the retail box. nor can i find it anywhere on the router admin page.

    Hello, just got myself an AC68R from ebay, scouring the whole router, i can only find the serial number : E1|RGO..... Just wanted to ask if it's safe to flash merlin onto the router? As i'm not sure if the serial number equates to the hardware rev being E1.

    Not sure if you guys know about the RT-AC1200G+ by Asus and how is it compared to the AC68U. Can get the latter for about $50 cheaper and wondering if it'll better serves my purposes, with regards to range since my apartment has a few walls between rooms.
