    So you don't think they gave the guest network a vlan id like the apple airport does for its guest network? i have heard of people using the AirPort Extreme like I suggested with the ERL assigning a vlan to the the guest networks pre-associated vlan id (which is 1003 in that case). See here...

    well hopefully it is as simple a fix as you suggest. Right now mine is in a box in the garage as I would feel bad even selling it to someone. (ironically arris, netgear et al don't feel bad about continuing to sell them, which tells me about how much they care about fixing it!)

    Not sure why under full load they would go into a idle state. Seems to me it is more of the chip cant handle what it is doing in hardware, and so its choking ~ every 20 seconds dropping packets and just stalling out.

    Anyone else using the Orbis in AP mode that can take a screen shot of the home screen of the ios app? interested in seeing if it shows your satellite. Its a nice looking app, but it is very barebones and not really useful for anything, hopfeully they continue working on it.

    Oh the satellite is working fine and the old web ui recognizes the satellite, it's the new iOS app that doesn't recognize it. Speeds fine though and I'm on it right now so I know it's working right.

    I think it is fine. At the end of the day 99.9% of the people looking for a mesh type system could care less if it is truly mesh when it does what it does better than the other "mesh" systems and certainly to the laymen looks like it works the same way too. Think they marketed it just fine...
