    Beta [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374 LTS release 53D1

There’s a new build in the dev folder

    Beta [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374 LTS release 53D1

Still poking around in the shadows. Nothing exciting to report on the new build, though I no longer use QoS as the service well exceeds any need for it these days.

    Diversion Diversion is not working

@thelonelycoder is this something you encountered or dealt with at all? I haven't been around as much lately and the board structure is much different, I'm having trouble finding anything on the subject.

    Diversion Diversion is not working

Safari bypasses your dnsmasq settings. I am currently in the midst of figuring out how precisely, and what can be done about it. I am presuming it's some flavor of DoH but still investigating. In the meantime, the answer to your question of "why doesn't it work" is that safari is doing something...

    Diversion Diversion is not working

Are you using safari on either macOS 11 or iOS 14?

    Beta [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374 LTS development 47D9 - RT-AC68U V3 support

Been in latest refresh for about a week. Nothing notable.

    Beta [Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374 LTS development 47D9 - RT-AC68U V3 support

Still kicking over here.. been using 47D3 on 1900P for a few days, nothing interesting to report. The only thing that has changed much lately is that I'm no longer using QoS as my connection speed has eclipsed what QoS can handle on the downlink

pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

Yes, that would be generally accurate. Performance wise it’s the same, but I use pixelserv for some logging, troubleshooting and statistics purposes.

pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

Though the certificate requirements being a moving target does have its own considerations, the actual issue reducing the usefulness of pixelserv-tls is that advertisers and developers are increasingly becoming wise to the blocking mechanism and are coding apps/etc to check for a valid server...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Yeah, I posted my platform and browser because I suspect it’s at fault. I’ve since checked Safari 14 on macOS 11, same result with the blank page. Works properly on Safari 13.1.2 on macOS 10.15

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I have never, ever used it but I checked it out to confirm that I also see a blank page where there seemingly should not be. 45D5, iOS 14 Safari

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I've only ever used AC68 variants, so it's possible that my experiences don't translate, but generally what you have said I found to be true. The transmit power is capped at 200mW and I never saw any particular benefit to having it up that high anyway. Even more so if you're planning to keep to...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

@KGB7 The issues you see with Safari, especially the password related ones, are limitations/quirks of Safari. Nothing you can do about those really.

    Private Wi-Fi Address

Yours says it is disabled because “it may not be supported” - I wonder what constitutes “support” for that feature.
  15. jrmwvu04

    Private Wi-Fi Address

This is correct. It is on by default and cannot be disabled globally as far as I can tell. It must be disabled manually per SSID.

    Private Wi-Fi Address

Just a heads up for everyone.. iOS 14, at least in beta, has a feature they call Private Wi-Fi Address that is enabled by default. This means that each time the device connects to your network, it will do so with a unique MAC address. The effect of which is that it will break static addresses...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

COVID 19 has proven to be an absolute nightmare to try to troubleshoot internet/networking hiccups.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Yeah. Works on Native with all the default settings. I did change the one you mentioned but it works without that change as well, as in years prior. But for one or another reason it did not last night. I noticed the same behavior as @luni though - the LAN address began with 2001 something last...

No, it’s my fault. It’s been a long week.
