pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

For what it’s worth, that was my one hesitation - I also look at that on occasion.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Never use the PS4 to gauge network performance. The WiFi card in many if not most of those is terrible and you can’t have a good WiFi experience, full stop. Either plug in the Ethernet cable or accept that you’re going to have a shaky experience. Those are the two choices. Also, the way the...

No problems, WiFi or otherwise. 37B4.

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

That is what my expectation was. I don’t know what the diversion categories are relative to what they were in absolution, but there was a standard blocklist at one point that was mvps, poyo, and someonewhocares. I would recommend you go no further than that. And certainly nothing from...

2.2.1-rc.2 is also as smooth as butter, now with better default settings

pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

If your blocklist is more than just mvps+poyo, you have to be able and willing to use the more verbose logging levels of pixelserv-tls to see what’s being blocked when you run into problems. Or some similar method to detect blocked connections. Pretty much every other public blocklist that...

Those should both be off. Also try disabling the beam forming option if you have that. I’m not familiar with the n66 but ac models have a non-ac beam forming option on 5ghz that causes issues sometimes.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

On the security risk front, I can’t say but I would expect it to be as good or better since it’s a more recent version. As far as disadvantages, I think the thing you’ll have to check into is making sure the built in version is as disabled as possible, so that it isn’t in conflict with the...

minidlna 1.2.1-3 is available from entware, if you were so inclined you could try installing and configuring that. I don't have any advice for doing so because I've never used minidlna.

Webui access via https with (self-signed) certificate?

No reason to use https for it unless you are giving lan access to machines you don’t trust. And probably not even then

Seconded. I'm a big fan of binaries.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

To elaborate on this a bit, I manage another AC68 for a family member in addition to my own. Here where I am, I connect to a cloudflare server that is in the same city. At the other location, it connects to one in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Not only not the same city, not the same country...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I’ve been using DoT with cloudflare for a while with no problems whatsoever. I think how well it works depends on where you are and how well the servers you end up with perform.

I quoted you just so I could see it twice.

pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

I've generated certificates with OpenSSL 1.0.2p for pixelserv-tls that work perfectly, so the problem isn't there (or there alone).

[SOLVED] What are the differences between RMerlin's and john9527's firmwares?

Well I’ll admit that name and picture made me laugh. @RypeDub be aware the 380 legacy release will receive no further updates. Whether that matters is up to you and your use case, but just a thought.

[SOLVED] What are the differences between RMerlin's and john9527's firmwares?

No, no, and I’m not sure but I don’t think so. You could use the legacy 380 code though.
