Max is 200mw. Krack fixes are in the builds with the newer wireless driver, E series generally speaking.

pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

There used to be one, didn’t there? I like that idea I think.

Just to add a data point, I don’t have the problem either, 1900P with iOS and macOS clients. Nothing fancy on server setup beyond a non standard port.

Smooth sailing on 2.2 so far.

[Test] Asuswrt-Merlin LTS fork - Multiple items

If the point you’re trying to make is that Colin’s rules are good, I would agree.

No, it's not that. Quad9 just seems kinda iffy sometimes and times out for whatever reason, probably something on their end. I've had no such issues with Cloudflare to this point.

Definitely. I went through very similar setup issues many, many moons ago and I learned two things about doing the setup. One, clearing out browser cache frequently is a very helpful step when you’re changing settings, let alone doing resets. The usefulness probably depends on the browser but...

Those are neither simple nor the best. If they’re working for you, that’s good. But they’re not going to be good default settings for many, let alone most users.

The default priority level is already configurable. As is the rest of that stuff.

Will pop this on when I get time tonight. Haven’t had any further dnsmasq crashes since the one you knew about.

I’m finding the same to be true. Not as much scientific data to back it up as you, but the user experience is just generally smoother.

    Fare thee well, AC87U

Working out some kinks by the looks of some of the other threads. ;)

Following up, I have had no problems with the Quad9 insecure server added in the final release. In my experience, I don't notice any degradation with DoT compared to plain old DNS. Unrelated, I have been toying around with QoS again since I had to get in and make the changes to add DoT, and...

Diversion Diversion - the Router Ad-Blocker

Congrats @thelonelycoder - I don’t use it, but it is clear a lot of people do. And the screenshots are pretty which I do appreciate.

pixelserv pixelserv - A Better One-pixel Webserver for Adblock

The other thing that matters is what all you’re sending to pixelserv. If you’ve got a wildly aggressive block list it can be causing problems others don’t see. Didn’t see that mentioned in skimming through.

Quad9 secure doesn’t work properly for me. Cloudflare worked pretty well though. Might look into CB if I get tinkery.

I've updated and switched to the Quad9 insecure primary DoT server. Didn't have any performance issues after switching to the Cloudflare DoT, so we'll see.
