    Interesting thought! I notice sometimes it sort of loses functionality while running, and when I reboot - it starts blinking. The prior reboot was good, and it even worked for a bit. Alright, I think I've exhausted my patience with it - will replace!

    Alright - it makes perfect sense now. It became hot in May 2022, you put a fan on it. Looks like temperatures is a really good parameter to track through time.

    So you have a ~2017 model to get 4 years in early 2022? The pads must have dried up and lost thermal conductance, both on the cpu and radio chips.     Right, but it's still due to the regulator's age. And CPU temp shows the rough working age of the router.
