    ASUS RT-AC86U firmware release 3.0.0.4.384.45149 12/05/2018

Look in the wireless log and sort by connected time. You can see that the devices from the system log are indeed disconnecting and reconnecting. I have many different devices spamming in the sys log. It has nothing to do with any devices driver. Seems like a whole lot of instability.

    ASUS RT-AC86U firmware release 3.0.0.4.384.45149 12/05/2018

No, it's not bad. There is some bug in the code. Or this spam was never logged whatever. Anyone know what version these notifications started with official Asus firmware? I had this 86U a year. I always had Merlin FW on it. I tried this official FW for the first time ever a few weeks ago and saw...

    ASUS RT-AC86U firmware release 3.0.0.4.384.45149 12/05/2018

These Assoc Disassoc messages started appearing in the Merlin 384.9_alpha1-g67f9006e5 on my 86U. There are e thousands of these entries. Roaming assistant is off. I have a lot of WiFi outlets and switches. I saw these entries when I tried this Asus official FW. Went back to Merlin 384.8_2 and...

[384.9_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Seen that and there is no real answer to this. I don't believe all these devices are disconnecting and reconnecting every minute or so. Is the log file in danger of growing to big? @RMerlin What should I do?

I have hundreds of these entries overnight. Maybe even thousands.

[384.9_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

When I go back to 348.8_2, I don't get any of these in the logs. The official Asus FW had these entries. Something changed.

[384.9_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Why do I get these MAC addys in the log with 384.9 alpha? I saw these in the official Asus FW that I tried a week or so ago. Never seen it with Merlin's. It is constant. I truncated them: Dec 26 19:49:22 WLCEVENTD: eth5: Disassoc 34:29:8 Dec 26 19:49:23 WLCEVENTD: eth5: Assoc B4:F7:A Dec 26...
