amtm bus error, pixelserv-tls segmentation fault

Thanks. We get choices! I will have to check them out sometime to see the options. Have always been timid to check it out is case I shoot myself in the foot.

amtm bus error, pixelserv-tls segmentation fault

Late to the game as was tied up this morning, but plus one on @Viktor Jaep advice. Format a new drive via AMTM. I am not sure if the AMTM r option is smart enough to set everything back up while leaving your custom scripts alone or not. I have never used it. Maybe @thelonelycoder coder could...

    amtm Segmentation Fault in AMTM

Well, you could try restoring the bad backup and then run r from AMTM to allow AMTM to reset any entware stuff that might be corrupted and hope for the best. But, you would always be left with the notion "Is everything really ok". Starting with a frest entware install really is the way to go here.

amtm bus error, pixelserv-tls segmentation fault

Backing up your USB drive now may be fruitless. If you have corruption, you are only backing up corruption. Just be ready to go a full format and start anew.

Wireguard working everywhere except at hotel

If the hotel is doing any DPI, that will mess up wireguard as well. I used to travel a lot for my job. I got to know which hotels and chains were up to no good.

    Static IP Address Question

To further what Colin said re the DNS, if you do need to stay with a static IP for reasons, you can always add your machines FQDN to the /configs/hosts.add file.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 is now available

Use a dnsmasq.conf.add script or @Jack Yaz DHCP script (AMTM script install). Edit: @visortgw beat me to it;)

    transparent proxy squid

Sorry, yeah, I have been using reverse proxies so much lately that it totally went by me that you were setting up a foreward proxy. Sorry about the confusuion that I have caused. Curious though, is your squid server located on the router (entware) or another machne? Looking at the...

    Newsletter new firmware

Look at the custom scripts. There is a notification script. Script your own email. That is what I did.

    transparent proxy squid

Assuming you are using squid as a reverse proxy of sorts for web traffic, add the squid server fqdn name and address in /jffs/configs/hosts.add file and restart dnsmasq.

    transparent proxy squid

    Ahh, gotcha.

    transparent proxy squid

From the WAN? Using the port forwarding section I referred to will do the job.

    transparent proxy squid

First thought is to set a forward rule in the GUI (WAN->Port Forwarding). Also a little more detail would help.

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3004.388.4 is now available

Are you installing the firmware from the router update page? Looks like you are not.

    amtm Segmentation Fault in AMTM

When I had to restore my USB key, I mounted the new key and formatted with AMTM and labelled the drive accordingly. I then manually mount the NAS folder from the router shell, CD to the remote folder and do a tar extract back to the USB key. I don't use any exclusion rules. I want speed as...
