Start with removing adguard home (needs more RAM than your router has), ntpmerlin (not needed at all) and scribe (needed only in remote usecase).

LG OLED + Samsung S23 - randomly can't see each other.

If it works connected to guest wifi has to work connected to main wifi. We are missing something.... Do you have another router to make a check?

LG OLED + Samsung S23 - randomly can't see each other.

To not mistake casting to screen mirroring, please confirm that you are not casting local files and that you have not enabled guest mode. In particular confirm that you can Google cast a Netflix or Prime video stream from an android phone without hotspot mode on to a TV without any connection to...

LG OLED + Samsung S23 - randomly can't see each other.

Ok, the access point has the same ssid as the router? If yes split them (4 ssid in total) and try again. if not let's try this (one at time & in this order): set a wifi password with no special key (only letters and numbers) Security WPA2 (no wpa3) check roaming assistant dbi value.. OFDMA set...

Disable Universal Beamforming. Why Roaming Assistant Is enabled? You have One SSID for both 2.4 and 5ghz (if so prepare to split them)? Clarify this point thanks.

Can you confirm you disabled Airtime Fairness? If yes, can you post a picture of your wireless/professional tab settings so we can see what's going on?

LG OLED + Samsung S23 - randomly can't see each other.

Nope, you're making a mistake, perhaps you don't know the matter. Wifi-Direct is a direct connection between two devices without a router in between. Google Cast is a connection between two devices both connected to a router...

Best Cake settings for 5G Home Internet

Also because QOS at that speed in a SOHO environment is useless.... But the OP wasn't complaining, was asking how to QOS a FWA connection... 5G is not always associated with big speeds. Just an example: this summer I went to Canary Island (Gran Canaria). There my cellphone picked up a 5g signal...

Best Cake settings for 5G Home Internet

It depends... Here in my country in Europe, if you don't have FTTH you can chose between a 55/20 fttc and a 450/50 5g connection. Ping Is 10 for the fttc, 35 for the 5g.

    controld

I was discussing about the adblock feature not the dns-proxy feature. Are you using control.d as your default DNS server to resolve italian addresses? Are you using the adblock feature? IMHO the problems with timvision are a clear proof of the unreliability of the resolver....

AC86U dying: Debating on spare AX68U or buying GT-AX6000 for 1Gb

It'll go well, be sure... and you won't come back.... MT2500 seems unsupported by now. DL-WRX36 is supported, but consider that NSS is disabled under openwrt, so no HW/NAT acceleration (that's one of the consequences of no full OSS support by Qualcomm). There are also some reports of very high...

AC86U dying: Debating on spare AX68U or buying GT-AX6000 for 1Gb

Qualcomm is way worse than mediatek in OSS support. Filogic chipset are full supported under Openwrt and way less problematic.

AC86U dying: Debating on spare AX68U or buying GT-AX6000 for 1Gb

If it'll become EOL in the next few months I'll buy an Asus AX4200 or a Netgear wax206, put openwrt on it and live an happy life for the next 10 years or more 🤷🏻 I've finished chasing the next wonderful incredible outstanding 399,99$ offer from Asus. Sorry to say, but the last real outstanding...

AC86U dying: Debating on spare AX68U or buying GT-AX6000 for 1Gb
