    You can avoid double nat and do policy routing if you use tplink as router and asus as access point. But if you want to do this there are far better and economic solutions

    Try Ranger script, sometimes works, sometimes not. It tends to unravel sometimes. If It doesn't the tplink option is a viable one (but be prepared to double-nat and no policy routing) If load balance and policy routing Is essential to you, ditch the Asus and go to openwrt or pfsense.

    The point Is that the link options are set in the router, not in the media bridge...in the media bridge wifi section you only choose the AP to connect to and nothing else. So which Is the meaning of: "Merlin Is best because It let me set 160 MHz in the media bridge?"

    Old school idea. It was good when everything was http. Now everything is https, so It won't easily work. I suggest to abandon the idea and configure the clients to use your proxy. If you really want to do it you need something like this: Client starts HTTPS session Proxy transparently...

    Problems with Skynet, nothing new.... Start with removing Skynet via amtm, then see if everthing works again. If not send us your DNS configuration and in the meantime check the USB drive for failure.

    Sorry but I don't understand: the media bridge is a "dumb" device which receives the connection... How can you possibily need to set 160mhz bandwidth in it?

    Except for the nasty DHCP bug, which makes the media bridge mode useless. Merlin firmwares are a one man job and there's no problem if some detail slips. In this corner case the standard firmware is better (or was, maybe the bug was closed... I just don't want to waste time on a now working...

    I reverted to official Asus Firmware, which doesn't have the bug. Anyway Merlin on a media bridge Is pretty useless.
