    Well, I created a file called nat-start under /jffs/scripts. However every time my openvpn restarted the setting was lost. So I added the line "sh /jffs/scripts/nat-start" in /jffs/scripts/firewall. This file seems to be executed every time openvpn restarts, so the dhcp lock is always in use.

    Hi, why use a vpn with pptp (an insecure protocol) to game online? It's not better to avoid using vpn at all for online gaming? Also, it seems to me that AX88u supports AES-NI, so are you sure that pptp is faster than openvpn with aes encryption on that router?

    Disable it, trust me. I had a whole world of problems with it enabled. Brother wifi printer disconnections every 2/3 days. Google home mini disconnections. HP lan printer not discoverable.

    Airtime is good in theory. In the real world google/nest iot, sonos and amazon iot has a lot of problems coping with it....

    As I said I could ping inside a ssh console to the router. This way I could override unbound, because the option "Wan: Use local caching DNS server as system resolver" was set to no. This is the reason I think it can be an unbound problem. Infact why every website is resolved by the router...

    Thanks for the advice, I'll make some debug when the issue will reappear. For the question: my router is AC66U_B1 and I don't use stubby integration, just plain vanilla unbound with no adblock integration. I use diversion, pixelserv e Skynet.

    Hello, I've a Ac66u rev2 (same ad ac68u), as my parents and a friend of mine. Setting this to No has always caused hangup of the router after about 1 week of usage. My suggestion is to try, but if you awake one morning with a network fallout, this is the first setting to restore to default.

    That seems a jffs corruption problem. Have you tried to format again jffs and start configuration again?

    Hi, go to administration/system. Then under network monitoring select ping instead of dns query. For me this solved the problem. Before the uptime was 4-6 days, now my router is running for 14 days and the glitch hasn't showed again.

    Yes, you are right, the sequence seems to be: something goes wrong; watchdog comes into play and starts service-event; the loop continues because the problem in point n.1 isn't solved. I'll do some more investigation. Thanks to you all, I'll be in touch
