    Priority for DoT Server List?

@gattaca @underdose wow yeah it is working. Now my question is . This is supposed to survive reboots right? And server changes from the WAN DoT list?? And where is this file located when backed up?? My last question, does it roll down to other servers too if say their DNSSEC reply server is...

    Priority for DoT Server List?

It's not cloudflare per se. It's just dns in general. And my point still stands. There aren't any guarantee that a dns server would stay on without problems for 24/7 . I've had some time when say Google services were down. Not even a ping to the dns works. But the other works fine. So yeah still...

    Priority for DoT Server List?

What do you mean by that? So , it'll query it from the first list by default? Unless it's not working or something?

    Priority for DoT Server List?

Hey guys. so weeks ago i had a problem with my ISP's connection to Cloudflare which fails my DNS resolution. I wanted to prevent that in the future, but it doesn't seem that you can set the priority for DoT in the preset list... Is it possible to set a priority for each servers? so say all...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

I know. We already have a thread for it. I didn't talk much either. Just letting him know that a simple fan fixes it

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

Got a cheap chinese usb fans kit. They have those air filters. Replaceable too it seems like. With the filters it's only pushing like a very small amount of air. I thought it wouldn't be enough. But yes it was more than enough. From the lowest 80C and normally at 90C (and more if on load) . To...

Beta Asuswrt-Merlin 386.2 Beta is now available

So anyone running beta 3 on AC86U as a main router? Any issues so far? Haven't seen much report here haha. Just some with random problems. But that's to be expected with different configurations...

    ASUS Login Not Secure

That's because the webgui is on http . Not https. Not a problem as far as I know since you're only opening it from the local safe network.

    Router temperatures

Just got my fans in the mail . They're those cheap chinese ones. Seems good enough. With the filter it's not really pushing air tbh. Without it, it's quite a nice breeze . Although, even with that limited air pushing capability when the filter is installed , my current 80C idle (currently in...

    Router temperatures

So from what I've heard so far. For AC86U . The best cooling comes from a push in configuration. From the lowest possible point on the back fan holes. (which is just above the ethernet ports etc) .. and to use a filtered fans. Is that it or are there any more tips?

    Router temperatures

Probably because of vent holes and internal layout. But yeah. Push in method seems to be better. That's why I'm buying a fan with internal filter. Not that fine of a filter but enough I think..

    Router temperatures

Oh. Well as you know for temps it's better to do push in. And in terms of noise it might be the same tbh. But idk

    Router temperatures

Someone tested in terms of temps. And push in configuration works better in terms of temperature than pull out configuration

    Router temperatures

Either you're lucky AF in the HW department, or your environment temp is cold AF

    Router temperatures

I think it's always been like that. But even tho the thermal management in the hw department isn't that good. It's good enough , that's why it's never been a problem. Until now when asus needs to disable some things that creates more heat. Then kaboom throttling everywhere...

It's definitely a hardware thing. And it's also not because of old routers. As I said. Mine is a new late 2020 unit..
