[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

True. And didn't mean to step on your toes, I was constructing my own reply when you responded.

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

You will only use bandwidth up to 100% of the value you set manually for your QoS limits. So if for example you have 100mbps service and your manual bandwidth value is set to 90mbps you will be capped at 90mbps bandwidth regardless of how many categories are seeing activity. A good way to...

UPnP - Multiple Xbox One Gaming Consoles & NAT

Took a bit more work than i expected getting screenshots off this device, but i think this gives you a good idea of the options available...

UPnP - Multiple Xbox One Gaming Consoles & NAT

I'm in the alpha ring, but it should trickle down to beta maybe next week and then the delta and omega rings following that. It's part of the Fall Creators' Update, which will be available to everyone in October.

UPnP - Multiple Xbox One Gaming Consoles & NAT

It's not maybe, the feature is already available to members of the insider program. I have the feature on my console right this moment, however I only have one console so I can't test its effectiveness.

UPnP - Multiple Xbox One Gaming Consoles & NAT

It might interest some of you to know that the latest xbox insider preview build contains new network features and improvements to address this issue. There's discussion about it on reddit started by one of the xbox engineers whom I quote below...

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

I get the same messages in my system log after a restart when the script initializes. I don't believe it is anything to worry about.

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

Yes, the minimums only come into play when competing with other categories for bandwidth. If only one category is seeing traffic it will use as much bandwidth as needed up to 100% of the value you set in the WebUI.

[Release] FreshJR Adaptive QOS (Improvements / Custom Rules / and Inner workings)

Not sure I entirely understand your question, but this script is designed to be used with manual bandwidth values set in the WebUI. So if you set the upload value to 80% of your available bandwidth for example, then the maximum total bandwidth consumed by any and all upload categories would be...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62 Beta is available

AC68U in this case, or to be more specific a T-Mobile AC1900 (rebranded AC68U). I was able to revert today, but only when uploading an old ASUS firmware (3.0.0.4.376.3626 ) via recovery. For whatever reason (perhaps related to being a T-Mobile branded router?) it would not allow me to flash the...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62 Beta is available

Thanks for confirming, though weird that it wasn't working for me. I will have a go at it again tomorrow when there aren't users requiring working internet.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.62 Beta is available

Is it no longer possible to revert firmware in recovery mode? I have tried reverting via the Asus Utility, The MiniWeb CFE interface, as well as TFTP. I am able to enter recovery mode and successfully upload an older firmware file, but upon reboot the firmware does not revert. I have tried...

    RT-AC56U - Slow IPv6 speeds

Same problem here regarding AiProtection, I have to leave all options disabled or I get greatly reduced IPv6 speeds on my AC68U. Another IPv6 speed problem I have encountered and posted about in the past involves QoS; sometimes when booting QoS would get activated before Comcast finished...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Thanks for the reply. Haven't had a chance to mess around with this again until now, but strangely the QoS limits seem to be working correctly today. Other than a reboot I'm not aware of any other changes being made to the router's settings, so not sure why things are working today when they...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

IPv6 download speed is not working correctly with QoS enabled on build V15E5, downstream speed seems to be limited to the upstream value.

Traffic Analyzer - Statistic, no data

Statistics weren't working for me with firefox, but are now after turning them off and then back on again using a different browser. Strangely, after using another browser to do this statistics now display in firefox again. Another seemingly firefox-related issue results in numerous devices...

RT-N66U - QOS problem with IPv6 download speed

Similar problem here using 378.55 on an AC68U. Only in my case IPV6 download speed seems to be limited to about half of the set QOS value. Any chance we can get a fix for this in the main Merlin branch? I would prefer to keep the features of the new firmware releases rather than switching...
