    @RMerlin - smooth update AXE11000 from Asus 388_22525 to 388.2 Alpha2. Dirty upgrade, working as expected for ~18 hr. AIMesh issue has been noted by others. Note I've offloaded Ad blocking and Unbound to a RPi, so not currently running any scripts on the router. Thank you!

    Asus router suggestion for >1200Mbps via WAN port (Comcast)

    This... what will you need >1gb for on a consumer line? I've found IRL that anything over 600mb for a home service ~6-10 clients, PS5, etc, and it doesn't skip. But - that said, I have 1gb down and 20 mb up service from Comcast, regularly can speedtest at >1.1gb. Modem/Router setup below.

    Installing Merlin Firmware on ASUS GT-AXE11000

    @lujaniii 'AXE11000' and 'AXE11000 Pro' are different routers. Make sure you pick the correct firmware for your router.

    If you're worried about not having a hardwire setup for a critical computer you can go the power line adapter path. They've gotten better and less expensive over the years. TP Link offers a 2gb renewed set for $70 on Amazon right now...

    @RMerlin With the AX88U now dead, are you planning to repair it, get another one, or switch to the AX11000 (or newer) as your primary router now? I purchased my AX88U because it was your primary router at the time, knew I couldn't go wrong with it. Maybe its time to upgrade to the AX11000 now...

    Unknown hidden synchronization of data on asus RT-AC68U router

    If you have a recent version of Merlin installed, its part of the firmware. Allow SSH on admin settings, SSH into the router, and run "AMTM". The scripts are there, select #2 and install.

    Link aggregation between 2 AX88U routers (Main and AP)

    Not sure if this is a relavent response to what you're trying to do, but I have run my AX88U with LACP active on WAN with WAN port and LAN Port 4 while also LACP with LAN ports 1+2 to a managed switch. edit: Use LAN ports 1+ 2 for link agg, not ports 2+3 as stated earlier.

    RT-AC86U replacement

    Amazon currently has it new on the Asus store site at 12% off, $157.89. (AX68U black) I had added it to my cart, just went back to purchase and it has gone up $7 to $165.
