    No problem, appreciate your comment. This was more for the previous poster re internet speed. The fact that the Comcast tech guys said 700mb was all you could expect from their 1gb svc was my focus. BTW, used your Android ROM early on, Evo or OP1 IIRC. Thank you!

    FWIW on quoted internet speeds.... I have 1gb Comcast cable service. I had the service techs out b/c I could only get ~350mb and they ran the line from the street to the house. I had my 2gb capable modem directly connected to the incoming line, my AX88u directly connected to the modem, my laptop...

    As long as you installed AC86U beta and you have an AC86U router, you didn't make a mistake. So it isn't a firmware issue. Factory reset or Asus Recovery should bring it back, unless you powered off during firmware flash or the router itself is dead/dying. I think @OzarkEdge has the issue pegged...

    WinSCP. Enable on SSH on the router. You should be able to log in and browse in the GUI.

    Same here. I was able to downgrade to B3 successfully, then upgrade to B4b successfully without having to use the rescue tool. I've had all of the Trend Micro AI turned off. I tried the B4 --> B4b and received the error.

    You should go back 4 or 5 pages to see an issue with Trend Micro engine on beta4 on AX88U and AC86U. Merlin has posted links to beta4b firmware that resolves it in his pre-release folder: https://1drv.ms/f/s!AuCcWdNeYuXMixNmNrWhl9Np1Zlg.

    Upgrade to B4b.. was running B4, attempted B4b dirty upgrade, received invalid firmware msg. Rebooted, direct dirty downgrade to Merlin B3 without issue.     I checked the Tools/SysInfo tab for HW version on my AX88U and it wasn't there. I thought prior firmware would list it in the Model field along with the router model, maybe I'm mistaken. @Merlin would be nice if this would be listed in the future. No urgency as the command Makaveli listed...

    I'm also holding on 384.18, tried 384.19 multiple times, ended up having disconnect and internet outages, culminating in familly demanding 'fix it'! So now patiently awaiting Merlin alpha 386 on 386.40947 code base when he turns to that. I can wait.

    AC88U downgrading from 384.19 - Questions

    If you can get into the router, try a factory reset using the UI. I went through this, too from .19 back to .18. Took several tries to get it fully wiped and reset.
