Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

Just so you know you are not alone, mine was also hovering around 97% RAM used after 7 days uptime, now dropped to mid-60s% utilization after a reboot. No obvious problems though at this point (even at 97% used), and I'm not one to worry about Linux/Unix based systems managing RAM in general...

    Release ASUS GT-AX6000 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.23285 (2023/05/12)

It's not always simply the frequencies used, the other variable is allowed power level, which can vary from region to region.

    Diversion Diversion 4.3.3 - the Router Ad-Blocker, released April 02 2023

Always happy to hear of Diversion progress and development, but what exactly was the game-changing moment? I stopped using pixelserve at least a couple years back, with no ill effects, so I'm not surprised you are dropping support for that, but what else is going on (perhaps with dnsmasq) that...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 388.2 is now available for select models

Why @Jack Yaz ? Did you mean to say @thelonelycoder , the actual author of Diversion?

amtm amtm 4.9 - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu, June 30, 2024 (locked thread)

Yes, but I do have Diversion (installed first), and Skynet (installed as second step), so I'm not sure what happened on my install for it to lose that whitelist entry. Skynet definitely did ADD that "bin.entware.net" domain entry (and corresponding IP) when I ran the "add domain to whitelist"...

amtm amtm 4.9 - the Asuswrt-Merlin Terminal Menu, June 30, 2024 (locked thread)

Yes, I have all the same concerns (re: RU and CN), and participated a bit in the thread that you referenced. Despite the assurance from @thelonelycoder that "bin.entware.net" should be automatically added to the Skynet shared whitelist, what solved it for me was manually adding that domain to...

    Entware Can't update/install entware about 1 mounth

Ok, perhaps a whitelist addition to Skynet will resolve this. SMH...getting too old for this.

    Entware Can't update/install entware about 1 mounth

While I welcome the recognition that this has been an issue for a while, the solution unfortunately added the alternative download location to the only other country that I block with Skynet (ru and cn). I guess I will have to continue to temporarily disable Skynet every time I attempt an...

Scribe scribe 3.x_y - syslog-ng and logrotate installer

A good nights sleep may bring new insights in the morning with fresh eyes and ideas. No worries, we will all survive without having you grind away at this all night.

Scribe scribe 3.x_y - syslog-ng and logrotate installer

Oh no, I have the same model and updated this morning, ran the same quick tests, but haven't done a complete reboot yet. Ugh...hopefully we have a hotfix coming soon.

    Scribe Scribe 2.4.4 is out

Can we expect that Scribe 2.5.0 will soon become the main/official release rather than a gamma (test) release? No rush, just checking to see how long you expect it to take for it to be sufficiently tested/verified.

    Scribe Scribe 2.4.4 is out

Thanks, but in my case, the fix turned out to be the one discussed here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/error-libssl-so-1-1-wrong-elf-class-elfclass32.84052/post-828939

    Scribe Scribe 2.4.4 is out

Having gotten rather used to using scribe/uiscribe under my trusty RT-AC86U for the last few years, now that I recently upgraded to a GT-AX6000, I reinstalled that combination after formatting my USB attached SSD and reinstalling Diversion and Skynet. Well, while all is technically...

    ASUS GT-AX6000 $232

That's odd, as I've been watching for deals on the Amazon (US) site pretty closely and never saw anything that low myself. Even the nominally "used" ones were going for this same $235 even earlier in the same day before this same price popped up (for new units) last evening.

    ASUS GT-AX6000 $232

Amazon just matched that $235 last night ($234.99 to be precise). It finally convinced me to pull the trigger and get one to replace my aging RT-AC86U. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09L8PCTPT/?tag=snbforums-20

RT-AX86U PRO page now up ...

I guess I'll have to presume it was a positive difference ;).

RT-AX86U PRO page now up ...

What model are you replacing, and how is the range/speed in comparison (at least subjectively)?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.9 is now available for AC models

IIRC, I believe that @RMerlin has told us that this is now part of the closed source components, so it would be up to Asus to fix, not him.

WG Server test with flowcache bypass

Do you mean Rover? Was that a reference to The Prisoner (Patrick McGoohan spy series from the '60s)? If so, are you #6 or #2 ? Sorry for the off topic post.

    AX88U PRO hit FCC

I know that, and as some forum members keep insisting, the GT-AX6000 is still technically superior to the (long-time) forthcoming RT-AX86U Pro. Odd that it GT-AX6000 would drop down to the same price point that the RT-AX86U Pro is expected to sell for, if it wasn't about to be discontinued.
